    Great video as always. Are you still using gesso as your base coat ? Also do you still use sand for some of your molds or you prefer a buck up mold.

      Thanks! Yes, still using gesso for the base coat. I don’t know why, though. Any Latex paint would work just fine. I only use sand for the lion mold.

    What paints and spray do you use?

      I use latex paint spray with a clear finish (like Rustoleum)

      @@x-webman is that to seal the acrylic paint you used to paint the Buddha?

      My painted statues stay indoors, so the spray finish gives it a nice even sheen and makes it easier to wipe off dust. If it were an outdoor statue the finish would only last a few months.
