686 + 2” and 3” are some beautiful revolvers I love shooting them!

I have that laser grip on my 360PD. The backstrap has an air cushion in the pad that really helps with .357 mag. Great Video

I have a set of the LG305 grips on my 640 Pro and they work great. I find your video right on point and reinforces the reason I have the crimson trace grips on my 640 Pro.

I put LG305’s on my 640Pro. LG405’s went on my 340. I’ve not shot my 640Pro further than 25, but it was easy to keep shots on a sheet of paper.

These seem to be hard to come by anymore & the size of the 405 is preferable for a pocket revolver. Have they been discontinued?

I like the idea of a laser. In some circumstances I think they are a better option than a red dot. Personally though, they are a little more difficult for me to run as I'm a Southpaw. They tend to interfere w/my grip or an ambi thumb safety, etc.

best option for a sw360pd because of the way the barrel jumps cause the weight is 11.8oz....great to have...it iis a must....even with excellent sights, this laser is a must

Lasers are great in low light (not NO light, because they won’t identify the target). Also, your eyes need only focus on the target, and you can shoot accurately without bringing the gun to eye level. Whether it’s my 1911 or my wife’s j-frame, it is good to have the option.

I find the LG-305 best for a Model 642. It’s larger, yet still fits in most pockets with something like a Kramer pocket holster. Also, if f you really like the Model 60, but yours is etched with “Lady Smith” on the side plate, the LG-305 covers most of that up. Get a belt holster for the Model 60 because it has an external hammer.

Do you know that I came through this channel through the recommendation by Tommy from Free Field Training?

The LG-350 and 350G are the full size j frame grips, with a place to put your pinky, and still work with a front pocket holster…. The full size came from S&W on my 639 airweight.
Those grips would be great even without the laser. The backstrap is cushioned/ has an air pocket… that you can shoot that gun all day due to
Added comfort. Some j frame grips are jarring!

Have you ever tried the LG-305, and if so, do you have a preference?
I’ve tried the 105 & 305, sent the 105 back. Didn’t like the hard plastic and I could barely engage the laser button.
The 305 is better but still requires a pretty solid draw and a decent squeeze…something I don’t always achieve in rapid draw drills.
I actually have better consistency with the Crimson Trace on my Sig 365.
    Btw, I have large hands.

I find the black ramp and notch to be very accurate at 25 yards. Just as much as with a full size gun. Different kind of shooting, imo

Lasers are good when you CAN'T use your sights like un awkward shooting positions.

Co worker gave me a Crimson Trace 305 for my Smith 642 J frame. I never had experience with one. Do you adjust the elevation were the red dot it is just above the front sight or slit the red dot in half with the front sight. Pardon me if the question is ridiculous. He had no owners manual to go with it. Thanks
