Thanks for watching, from all of us at Matt's off-road recovery!
Rudy seems like the kind of son that any father would be proud of. He is hard working and talented.
I love that Matt always takes the time to make friends with the dogs.
Sure beats yelling over the dog that won't stop barking at the "stranger" who didn't say hello. :-)
The most gut-wrenching video yet!
Every time the Banana went to yank that Rubicon I felt my gut tense up!
Kudos to Lizzie! Near locked manual steering and a funky brake system (all with no power!) she still got that beast out!
You guys rock!
“He’s just a chihuahua mix, so he ain’t too bright in the head” haha golden
Perfect description of the breed lol
Says the guy that rolled his Jeep
My chi is extremely smart! She knows at least 30 words or phrases.
They only have room in their tiny heads for little bird brains. Although birds are actually smarter than dogs. Weird.
@@rustzz8 Exactly.
You know your a good youtuber when your comment section isn't toxic.
Amen
I think those posters are dragged away from the site with some recovery rope, kicking and screaming if so be...
Lol good one.
Exactly. This is my spot to relax and watch people be nice to each other. That was a good comment- I really, really like these people. No cussing, fighting or making fun of people. I mean, I’m sure they do, but they have enough class not to put it on video.
Blimey, is that a thing? I've honestly not seen any comments that could be described as toxic. I'm not sure now whether that is a good thing or that I am missing some excitement.
Hard work towing uphill. That jeep never disappoints.
While watching Matt throwing four rooster-tails at Lizzy, it occured to me that Matt doesn't measure his tire mileage in "Miles," it's in "Sanding Minutes" as he sits there grinding the rubber off the rims, going nowhere. No wonder those tires show the wear!! ,^)
Yea tha things a beast a yellow beast lol
Suggestion for the next T-shirt, “don’t run over the rope!”
Yellow banana never fails
And just give it to the people that run over the rope haha
Sounds an awful lot like “don’t drop the soap!”
Needs to be on the back glass of the banana 😂
Yeah, because they want to scold the customers... smh
Matt needs to have "DON'T RUN OVER MY ROPE!" written on the back of the jeep. Maybe written backwards like on an ambulance as well for those getting gently "tugged from the rear"
Who doesn’t like getting tugged from the rear 😂
He needs it on the front too because sometimes he pulls them out in reverse too.
@@markmclean4897 😄🤣 came to say the same thing.
Lizzy did a great job on keeping that Jeep from rolling backwards when Matt would back up to get another run. You go girl!
So as a husband and father of two daughters, I love when Lizzie shows up and the guys all look at her like she doesn’t know anything, yet she can probably outdrive 80-90% of the people that go out there, and I’m sure she can’t be too old, I’m from jersey so we raise strong jersey girls, love to see everyone you got a rock solid group... much love and luck to all you guys....
There needs to be a sticker on the back window saying: “Don’t run over the rope!”
Yes, if i had $200.00 ropes i would have a big sign!
This looks like a good respectable company to work for, you guys are living the dream! Nothing better than honest work with a team you can trust
Just wanted to thank you for being inclusive of those of us that use the metric system! Those on screen conversions a really handy!
The fact that the ranger station knows your vehicles and just lets you all in without question is awesome.
I’ve been a subscriber for about 6 months or so , it still amazes me how the banana floats on that moon dust
Bravo! I figured it would take at least two vehicles to pull him out of there. The Banana never ceases to amaze me.
You trying to pull the Jeep up the hill is a metaphor for my life
Up hill battle all the way
One inch forward 16 inches backwards 😂😩😂
Especially this year!!!
Once I went back to Church, and got God in my Life again, things have Leveled out nicely. Mountains aren't so High and Valleys aren't so Low, it only took 40yrs. Talk about "BULL HEADED"
Sisyphus (or Sisyphos) is a figure from Greek mythology who, as king of Corinth, became infamous for his general trickery and twice cheating death. He ultimately got his comeuppance when Zeus dealt him the eternal punishment of forever rolling a boulder up a hill in the depths of Hades.
@@LuckyBaldwin777 AHHHHH, so that's the story behind that cliched image ! Thanks for the brief lesson. The more you know ! 🌠🤣
This is my fav "TV SHOW" lol Please never stop posting Matt!
Well a yr later and 100k or more subs he's still posting🤷♂️😁 plus I'm sure he is probably making more off these vids than the towing lol si I don't see him stopping anytime soon or I hope not cause I've been watching so much I feel like a part of the family lol
I like the Yankum Ropes ad with the familiar face. Bet that guy knows what he's talkin bout ;)
Matt and his crew are a bunch of good, nice people. Always pleasant. And this guy gets shit done.
I'm leaning off my chair trying to help you get that jeep out...
Ha i was too
My boss is never gonna buy“I hurt my back on RUclips; it was my lean that got the Jeep over the hump!”
LOL! It's funny how we do that, and I suspect most viewers do it every time we feel a bit of help is needed.
Same
I think I pulled a muscle but we got it out!!!
"Are the dogs ok?" = legit the nicest crew ever.
Gotta love my early morning dose of off road recovery 🤙🤙
The whole place is surrounded by 4x4s and they still call Matt to get them out.
Matt has insurance in case something else happens others don't. Sometimes it's not worth the risk.
Right, He obviously doesn't have very good wheelin buddies.
@@colinrogers5419 BS. I have never been wheelin and left somebody behind. If someone breaks down, they are extracted, even if they are not in our group. period.
Exactly what I was thinking.
I can't understand that either. Guys off-roading are always willing to help someone out. I would think a couple jeeps with one acting as a anchor and the other with a winch would have easily been able to get the guy up the hill and then it's a simple matter to tow him back.
Watching today from a cold, wet and windy Scotland, going to fit my winter tyres this week and I also need to get a waterproof videoing setup to keep my channel going !! Love watching such a happy, friendly team of people getting roasted and doing their thing in the desert !! When I get the urge to listen to the news, I resist and put on another ‘Matt’s Off Road Recovery’ episode... Cheers Don ;-)
It's actually cold wet and windy here in Pennsylvania, PA today as well.
@@KevinBenecke
No problem!... Jack up the heating, turn your back to the window and put on another episode of Matt’s! ;-)
Best of luck from sunny Texas!! Hope your channel does well- YEEEEHAW!!!!! 🤠
@@NodnarbRS
Yup! I love your USA. Spent 20 Summers months touring all over. Also love my 4x4..... Cheers Don ;-)
I just got a yankum rope commercial starring Matt, while watching a video of Matt. One of the very few commercials that I didn't choose to skip.
That was a battle to get the jeep outta there! It always amazes me how Matt's experience and his quiet confidence wins the day every time. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks again Matt & Co. But isn’t it about time we are introduced to the folks at the Sand Hollow entrance booth? And they deserve more scree time than just a dismissive wave.
I disconnected the battery and there aren't any check engine lights. Gets me every time
I guess it's like turning up the radio so you don't hear any noises.
Im Sure he meant disconnected and reconnected to clear or reset. Like restarting the PC. Lol
Whether you take that literally or not, it's still funny! ;^)
The other "fool-proof" solution is black electrical tape. It's so easy to cover up those annoying warning lights!!
Lol, it should've started. Since it wasn't a full rollover, I'm thinking a plug popped off some random sensor somewhere.
@@andoniades I’m pretty sure I heard about the fuel pump not working even after minor rollover. Something about a protection tripping.
Lizzie repping the 4-H.....good on you young lady. We are a 4-H family, both my girls are involved and my wife is their club leader. Nothing better for kids then to grow up in 4-H.
4-H had negative effects on a close friend of mine. Hope it works better in your area.
@@RickBaconsAdventures we’ve been involved heavily for years, know 100s of families in the program. This is the first negative thing I’ve heard. Our club has multi generational alumni who still support the club. Founded in 1927 well over 125 kids every year.
@Phil Wilson seriously ? It’s a community service, agriculture youth group. Developing young folks into good people and teaching leadership skills. Local clubs spread out under the national leadership. Lots to read about it on a simple google search.
@Phil Wilson it's like a club for kids to grow up doing farm things
@Phil Wilson taking the Piss? Antipodes? Sorry I don’t understand. I figured if you read all the preceding comments it would be a little self explanatory, my bad. I wasn’t sure if you were making a joke about the brand thing? I like to try and be self reliant, before I ask questions I try to figure it out on my own. If I can’t then I ask for help. Self relianece seems to be a lost skill. Btw, 4-H is international with more than 6 million members worldwide. The single largest youth development organization in the world.
I love you guys. Family friendly, professional and respectful. You are the best. Regards.
Spent 5 min trouble shooting why a rolled Jeep wouldn't start one time. Eventually figured out it was still in drive. Lol
I thought of that too, but I think they said it would still crank, and if its not in park or neutral they won't crank. I still had the same thought though
Been there done that! 😁
I love how he always has a mess in the back of his jeep. Never change.
But I bet he could tell u right where something is lol
Credit where credit is due. Liz was the only reason Matt got it out. With every tug she was quick on the brakes to not allow it to roll back. Teamwork wohoo!
I noticed that also, and was surprised Matt didn't compliment her on it. 99% of people would have either rolled back a lot more, or still had the brake on hard when the rope yanked. She had consistently excellent timing and touch, probably using the minimum pedal force needed to hold it, so the sudden acceleration from the rope would pull her foot off the brake. :She really ratcheted it up the hill impressively, not giving back much gained ground.
@@EfficientRVer Yeah...it's almost like....it's her job or something? Haha. Not saying she didn't do well but you guys should not be surprised.
Eh, basic skill one learns when getting towed with no power. Shoot, I knew that before I hit double digits but I grew up country so likely someone from the city would take a bit to figure it out.
"Think like a proton and stay positive" Love it !
Rudy, keepin' it in 2WD is just, straight up, showin' off... LOL!!
Great job guys!! The Winder team NEVER disappoints!!! Great team, great equipment, great videography and video editing, too!!
Oh Matt is big time now. You did a great job with that Yankum rope commercial! What a pro. I can't wait to see you staring in your first sci-fi movie rescuing the mars rover from Crater Hollow in the Cosmic Banana.
Is there really a commercial? Not sure if thats just a joke. If so can you post the link to it?
Lizzy looks like she really doesn't like riding in the back seat haha
Lizzy should have a seat out front with steerups on the front bumper
Of course, hard for her to be the center of attention princess while in back.
Bingo.
Winston Smith she always seem to be gettin’ it; once with brakes on doesn’t doom her. We should have Lizzy locking the hubs with her hat off 😉
lol i would be too sitting between two older men in a small jeep
Hurt my hip again trying to help matt and lizzie bungie that jeep out. ❤️👊🏽
Matt’s videos , it’s a lot of work for me to get those people unstuck
"We'll keep getting them out until there's flying cars, and even then we'll get the ones that crashed". LOL
I think there is a safety switch typically located in the rear of a car that automatically flips during a rollover to kill electronics or fuel flow and in order to restart the vehicle it needs to be flipped. Easy fix, but it shuts a vehicle down so much that it can seem like they are totaled so I've heard it can be quite scary if a person doesn't know to flip the switch after righting the car.
Ed's a Badass we love watching him!
Congratulations! And thanks for solving the mystery of WHO filmed the Hyundai rescue. One of your BEST videos ever. 🇨🇦
As always Matt and Crew does a great job. Rudy is just like Matt Calm and always gets them out. Looking forward to another video
I’m on the gas with Matt and holding the brake with lizzie you got my adrenaline flowing on that one Matt!!!!!
Rudy: you should just know
LOL
Ed is awesome! He's knows what's going on! Great job
Brilliant video team! I love it when the drone is used for some of the footage. It's such a great perspective and nicely shows off the amazing landscapes you are working in. That was a tough pull to retrieve the rolled jeep, but it's a good reminder that the terrain and the situations people get into are tough, even if Matt and the team often make the rescues look quite easy. Thanks guys!
The other 4x4's see the banana pull in/ look, our hero lol.
Saw my first AD for yankum ropes ft Matt's Off Road Towing, think I'm watching the channel enough guys? Hahaha keep it up guys!!
I live in Florida, so the only thing people get stuck in around here is mud.
I've learned from watching Matt's videos that all sand is treacherous, haha! Sometimes even the designated "road!"
That jeep she had the brakes on perfectly. Way to go Lizzy ☺️☺️
I like the way you incorporate the drone into the footage.
tough recovery but you guys got it done. nice work Ed!
That jeep took that rollover like a champ.
Way to go Rudy!! All the team does a great job! Always an adventure ❤️
I love this!! My whole channel revolves around sending pit bikes up some serious enduro trails! Might need Matt to come save me one day 🤣 ! Happy wheelin!
Nice pull, and all other jeeps just watching the Yellow Banana... 😁
Oftentimes it's far better to watch the pros work their magic than it is to try it yourself while ill equipped & fall flat. Humility can be quite helpful in life.
FAntastic job all!
that last part about not running over the rope, "they should just know" gave me a good laugh
Seeing Ed in these videos always lights up my day
Rudy refuses to give free tee shirts to anyone running over the rope
Just saw your Yankum commercial, good job!
I just have to say - I love Lizzy's 4H shirts. It takes me back - and this one is a delightful green.
It's really cool to see the progression of your channel Matt! The drone work looks great and your editing continues to improve. There's a moment in this video where you hear a passing car honk and scream at you guys -- the look on your face says it all. I'm happy to see you turn a homegrown business into another one. This channel is not just entertainment for me, I've also learned a ton from you and your team. Thank you all!
I like how rudy Is doing it alone more makes it more like a TV show. Like they hop from person to person lol
Sorry to see you are taking zero effort to avoid coronavirus infection. I'm particularly concerned for Ed, since he's elderly, smokes and looks like he may have other conditions that put him at high risk. Please stay safe!
Yes, another recovery video. What a way to start the Sunday!
High quality wholesome content needed this time of year
Keep Ed in front of the camera, he's the real eye candy.
That's good... we've got the oldest and the youngest in front of the camera! Great video!!
Yea lizzy aint much to look at anyway
@@Yamaha350w Lizzy is hilarious thanks you very much.
Ed’s beautiful mug brings allllll the views.
They seem like a nice couple, glad you were able to help them out! Those beadlocks look good on the Jeep Matt!
Lizzy rockin' her 4H Shirt! Way to Go!
Matt's crew is so wholesome I feel like I'm gonna overdose on sweetness! But in a good way…
Need to introduce a dark character or element to the story. The Poltergeist of Sandy Hollow or the truck that starts itself.
Matt's little house on the prairie. 💛💛💛
That's some pretty light damage for a rollover. Glad everybody alright
I loved when Matt gives instructions to Lizzy hahahahaha just like me giving instructions to my daughter.
Love the way the rims and tires look!
Rudy didn't lock the hubs. "I did it on purpose". Sure you did.
I'm looking forward to seeing a flying Banana. 🍌
Someone from AUS commented about passers-by will often help out in AUS, but in USA it seems they won’t.
In both my Ford F-250 4x4, and Subaru CrossTrek I carry rope/strap and clevises, in the truck I have a large J hook to just slap over an axle.
I really appreciated the episode in which Matt showed the connection points on various cars, front and back, so thanks Matt.
I’m a techno kinda guy and I appreciated your suggestions as to where to connect at.
That was really helpful.
Loved the Rope add Matt!! That was the first add that i actually watched the whole thing! And would actually click and buy!!
Lizzy is just lovely x
Jon is pervy.
You can see the sadness as she says "I wish we didnt earn this".
Wow ! Great job team !!! Mini Matt always tell them to STOP!! Don’t run over the rope!!!
Ahh my morning Matt, Ed and Lizzy fix is here!
Lizzy looked pissed the whole first rescue
She really does😂
hung over probably gorlzz these days haha
Does a Jeep have a fuel pump cutoff "G" switch? I have had vehicles with a reset button in the glove box to reset it. Just a thought....
That was as my guess!!
But I think it will throw a code?
I’m interested in learning more about why it wouldn’t restart. Does the fuel pipe have a “float” or something that can tell it tipped, and then it refused to restart until that’s been reset?
@@darrindowell3773 I don't know about Jeeps, but some vehicles have switches that kill power to the fuel pump if there is a high shock or overturn. Similar to air bag sensors. That way fuel is not being pumped causing a fire hazard. Look in your owner's manual to see if there is a reset. Maybe nowadays the computer can automatically reset when the key is turned off. Just not sure.
@@davids.682 my car does this, you have to turn the ignition on and off* 5 or 10 times to turn it back on
What I love about what you do is you know what you vehicle can do.
Again....outstanding job... Ed RULES !!!!!!!
The girl in the second tow was like " I thought we werent shaking hands any more?!"
Kind of weird his group would leave them like that and not get him out..
Jeep people are weird.
Staged ????
Could also be pride, the guy not wanting to be helped. There was footage of them getting the wheels on the ground and mans was like alright thats good enough ill take it from here
@@edward5979 tf it ain’t a Jeep thing me and my group would never leave someone even if we found someone like that from a different group
could have easily pulled him out with the help of the other jeep that was there. agree???
So addicted. I finally watched all of the MORR videos over the last month. Then I see this bonus video. Keep em coming.
Lizzy is really good in the towed vehicle. Just when to let off the brakes. Great job
If it's hydrolocked, I'll just pull the plugs and turn the engine over .... oh wait, I've got a Pentastar engine. Rofl.
Rollever Jeep guy looked bummed out.😕
Because he just rolled over with his Jeep...
Thanks for the video guys. Very enjoyable way to start my day.
Great video! Nice to see the younger folks getting involved with the business, it gives te company potential for long term growth and earnings potential.
So, this guy was wheeling in a Jeep group and they left him behind? Nice bunch. 🙄
Kinda what I was thinking. Not very cash money of them.
Could of got him back to where the banana did working together with their winches.
It’s a Jeep thing
The customer probably didn't feel like holding up the group and told them to go ahead.
@@rereg543 ya but as a friend of the guy I wouldn’t let him do that, he wouldn’t have paid for a tow if it were me.. but I guess not everyone thinks that way
