I've known Darwin almost my whole life. This is the first time I have ever seen him in shorts! And Paul you never, NEVER say, "Nobody's broken yet today", until you are completely off the trail.😄 Nicely done. I think someone is going back to Wisconson with plans to build his/her own rig.

Brandon and Tiffany were awesome, Tiffany looked and sounded like she could be Michelle's sister. Brave couple to ride trails that technical for the first time. Great to see Dar's vision out on the trails doing so well!
I believe Dar's Jeep was a success, well done. The best part was Michelle's reactions while riding.
Dar's Jeep is amazing. Incredibly capable rock crawler now, and Dar was having the time of his life. It was like he kept being constantly surprised at realization after realization. 'It's got power now.' 'Oh, it's got brakes now!' In fact there some very capable off-road vehicles on that trail trail today. I loved the green Jeep with its three foot of ground clearance.
What a classic line, when the visitor said, “I thought there were no more obstacles.”
Paul, “This isn’t an obstacle, this a road.”
Resounds like like Crocodile Dundee, “That not a knife, this is a knife.”

I got to meet Papa Dar last summer when I stayed at his campground (Bryce Zion Campground). He is every bit as nice in person as he is in these videos!! Great to see him getting to enjoy his jeep!! :)
Woke up this morning, switched on the tube, had 9+ notifications, I usually save my favorite for last, not today, I couldn't wait for a Fab Rat video that never disappoints. Paul you built one good stout 4 x 4 for Papa Dar, it works awesome at crawling. Great video as always, thanks Michelle

@@blsully I love Utah. Live in the UP of Michigan and have been there a dozen or more times. It all started back in 2000 after winning a round trip ticket to anywhere in the USA.
@@koslund11 We lived in Chassell (just SE of Houghton/Hancock) in the Keweenaw for a year! Loved our time in the UP. Would probably still be there if work had stayed consistent.
I would love to go down there and rock crawl one day. Im for Wisconsin also. I do a lot of mudd running me and my son. My boy had 3 big Chevys and is building another one. I have 1 and working on it putting a big block 454 in it. Great video

She’s a Walker not a rider!! What a great line! But, Michele did great staying in the truck! I remember when I first started wheeling I was definitely afraid of the drop-offs and cliffs. I grew up in Charleston SC where the landfill was the tallest mountain! 🤣. So when Joe moved us out to the PNW it was a whole new world for me.

13:16 The good ole Kaiparowits Plateau. Grew up in the South. Have lived in Utah for 20+ years. Traveled all over the US. Midwesterners are some of the best folks we've me, and we've me all kinds of good people. One of our favorite campgrounds that we've ever stayed in was just south of Green Bay on Lake Michigan. The Wisconsin folks were so inviting. Would love to go back.

@9:45 make sure to always tell your passengers to keep their hands off the roll cage only hold onto the belts or designated areas, your mind isn't fast enough to think of letting go in a roll over and will result in loosing your extremities. I've seen it many times first hand. And the last thing you need in the middle of an unaccusable area is someone missing body parts and hours from help.

The folks from Wisconsin were so ready for this! They are legit fans and they stayed in the whole time. Most people do not invite people out for giveaways and this just shows are kind all of you are.
Southwest Utah, beautiful. I was in Kanab last week. Was hoping to maybe see more of the SW corner of your state. But motor gremlins ended that chance. Gotta get back there for sure. Wheeling with friends, living amidst beauty, working for the life you love, you are blessed!
My 9 year old daughter and I love watching Fab Rats and Matt’s off road recovery!! Sorry Matt Fab Rats is our favorite! We love the projects and all the scenery, it’s a lot different than SW Georgia! Thanks for all you share with us!!

It’s so awesome seeing how amazing the build turned out and how it handles the trails! I can’t wait for the old Toyota truck to be done to be even more blown away with how well Paul can build an off road vehicle!
That's awesome they didn't bailout not once. I have had more passenger bailout than passengers that actually stayed in the Jeep. 3 yrs ago we wheeled in Moab with a couple from Wisconsin they had Ford Ranger on narrowed kingpin tons. He said he narrowed the axles to wheel in the forest and none of our Jeeps wouldn't make it in the forest because we were all too wide. Thx for another great video yall!!

Nice camera Job, Usually it's hard to tell on Camera how steep a hill is but with that shot at 7:50 of Papa Dar coming up that rock hill you can tell just how steep that sucker is. Good job!

It's so satisfying to see that jeep on the trail again. I saw it in the background of one of the videos last week and wondered when it would be seeing a video with it crawling.

Thanks for making my Sunday a really good day because my Saturday night sucked I went to a local demo derby and was treated to adult bumper cars instead of a demolition derby so thank you all for the video glad everybody had fun
The tricked-out jeeps look good conquering the obstacles, then comes the Yota hauling 4 people, and motors right up. It definitely helps that Paul understands traction, momentum, and lines.
Papa Dar's rock sliders are just a bit too short. That bondo will eject out like a rocket when the fenders rub against something and flex a bit. But it climbs good. Nice work Paul!

Me and my gf took her stock Rubicon on 31's all over hog canyon and let me tell you that was a wild ride, safe to say wont be going back without a taller lift and more tire. Yes we made it in and out without breaking anything or getting stuck but the skid plates and rock sliders took a gnarly beating

PD’s jeep is an awesome build. For cosmetic purposes only, I would do the bottom horizontal tube all the way around and then with thin wall tube( or not) I would do another horizontal tube all the way around the bottom. 4 or 5 inches above the bottom tube. Just a thought.
