on their discord they mentioned that they are working on a patch with "tons of changes incoming" that will be out sometime next week, and then the next big update i think is in december

@@SsjSpheall Within the encounter, killing things inside the tower before entering the purple portal extends the time you'll spend in astral realm (top left corner). In the astral realm you don't have to kill anything, but there are lots of prephecies and divine essence. If you want to make it easy, just always enter the portal as soon as possible (when you start losing sanity) to make it short. Run around for a while, pick up what you can, go back to the tower, kill things, repeat. Only keep farming the inside of the tower when you want to spend 1m+ in the astral realm to pick up all the prophecies. Some general tips: 1) Stop taking all the corrupted arcana in sight. You only need one per floor (the green crystal one). All the containers are optional and should be taken as a last resort. You can refill the ammo from the consumable ammo packs purchasable from the creepy vendor. Ideally you want to reach the boss only with 3 corrupted arcana, maybe 4 if you have no other option. 2) Use your spells more. They refill with kills, so they will replenish quickly in the tower. Especially the first floor can be cleared almost entirely with spells only, saving ammo 3) The lighting cross and freezing cone are ok crowd control defensive spells, but they aren't great for clearing rooms, try something like burning stake and cyst or burning stake + lighting sphere (you can get the stake on castle map). 4) Get the hangfire handcannon and upgrade it, it's a very powerful weapon for both bosskilling and cleaning up bunch of weaker mobs.

Ammo can be replenished from consumable ammo packs you can purchase. Use your spells more to save ammo, they replenish with kills, so they will be available often. Try other spells, combos like stake+cyst or stake+lighting sphere are great for clearing rooms. On the third floor don't kill anything in astral realm, enter the realm as soon as available to shorten the time you'll need to spend there, unless you want to pick up all the prophecies scattered there.
I'm definitely enjoying the series you are doing on witchfire atm and would love to see more, but be careful with that hurricane over there
