I've been mounting them on my KA-50... and let's just say i get more AA kills with the cannon than iglas. Is there anything i'm missing? And about the weather... I mean yea, i can sometimes make things between a bit to a lot harder... but GOD I LOVE IT. It just gives such a diferent vibe. like I've had the same map 4 times in a row, each with different weather and it's almost like it's another map. But mostly i love it because of the inmersion, love to see the grayish light and the trees swaying violently, in contrast with the bright light and the slow sway. "Is gud" :D
Iglas aren't worth it on Ka-50s imo, they take up space for the Vikhrs, whilst the Ka-52 gets dedicated pylons allowing you to carry 8 max. Granted they are indeed pretty shitty as far as AAMs go, but it's better than nothing I suppose? and yeah the AMTSh does indeed have CCIP, which sadly kinda renders the Ka-29 redundant (as if it wasn't already redundant enough to begin with)
I like the change in weather. The change in visibility can completely change gameplay and make it more fun. My problem with it is that there isn’t many weather types, like storms for example. It’s just fog. No thunderstorms, no actual snowstorms or strong rain.

I watch youtube videos on specific vehicles so I can see how players better then I am use them so I can get better. All I want to see is you shitting on people in the named vehicle.
Mi-8AMTSh is a 100% upgrade of Mi-24 imo. Mi-24 RWR(SPO-15) is almost useless against SAMs. R-60M is worse than igla in heli, and to use R-60 you have to sacrifice 2 shturms which mi-8 does not.
It already ignored flares due to the incredibly low FOV of the seeker head. You have to pre flare Strela, but that’s hard because it doesn’t give any warning when it locks you.
The new weather is awful. I'm on console and can't see anything in the air or at range on the ground, but the opponents on PC don't seem to have any visibility issues with the mist and low cloud coverage.

Im really not a fan of the fog. Like they remove night maps because of the stock vehicles but then add fog that blind players who dont have NVD... Gaijin is so inconsistent....

Yes. But really, I analyze the room. How far into the game, how our team is doing, etc. And "usually" I can get away with it. I.e, if our team is close to pushing their spawn, SPAA won't be focusing air more so than ground, etc.
Hi Justin Just a quick note maybe for the next video ;) The T72 Moderna turret is spinning faster if you move only the hull : I mean aim at a house and just spin the hull , almost as twice as the normal turret rotation speed, i think its a bug maybe you could check it :D Thanks
This is not a unique bug, it exists on all vehicles with stabilizers (vertical and horizontal). Basically what happens is that Gaijin, in their incite wisdom, coded stabilized guns to have a massive boost in their traverse/elevation rate (depending on the type of stabilizer), when small deviations in the point of aim happen. Due to this, when traversing your hull on a stabilized vehicle (with horizontal stabilization), it is very difficult to outrun your turret (due to the “stabilization boost” the gun receives from the stabilizer).

Strela has absolute no place at 9.3. its blatant pure bias or stupidity of Gaijin. even A-10 with reinforced fares its near impossible to counter let alone all the poor bastards with no flare at that BR range

that has been my complaint for the longest time, for a game called war thunder there's barely any thunder in game
variety is fine, but now 9/10 matches are foggy/low cloud cover. hopefully they tone it down in the future.

Strela is very good now it seems that the flares are useless against her missiles
Put yourself between it and a mountain to fool its optical tracker.
Its still possible to flare but you kind of have to do the craziest maneuvers or pre-flare.
