I couldn't believe how much I liked the movie when i started watching it for the first time. Definitely underrated. Was I the only one who bawled when she gave that speech in the end??
#1 Heath Ledger's existence. This movie wouldn't be good without him. Never ever should hollywood try to make this again. Heath you left so soon, but swooned our hearts forever
Venessa Lockhart Why ... why .. WHY ?? Who the fuck approved this have they no shame. There are some movies you can't mess with and this is one of them. Fuck... I still would watch at least one episode to see how it looks. I mean gotta give stuff a chance.
Thank you. For 20 years have i hated that dress, and now i finally get to hear that other people hate it just as much. I thought there was something wrong with my eyes or something 😂
I love it when Kat's father says "Whoops? My insurance does not cover PMS!" after she backed into Joey's car. And Kat "Well, then tell them i had a seizure."
Heath Ledger is legend and he will be always in my ❤. this movie is totally beautiful! ❤😍 I've already watched it for like 20 times and it will be always my TOP! ❤
The best moment is Kat's poem. Even though she was duped by both Joey and Patrick, deep down she can't help but show her repressed feelings for him. It's also a beautiful moment when you find out that Julia Stiles got all emotional and cried real tears during filming.
When he sang to her "Can't take my eyes off of you" it inspired me to seranate and propose to my girlfriend who is now my wife! One of my favorite movies
I saw this movie when I was a teenager when it was brand new and loved it. Then I bought it and memorized makes me feel old. my favorite part is when Bianca is invited to bogeys party and the invitations are thrown down the stairwell of the school.
You are regarding those as separate scenes, right? Bianca was pretty annoyed when Kat first told her about it. They only really made up later, but at least Bianca was able to make the right about choice about who to go to prom with.
@@andreasmeelie1889 No, he didn't - I just copied from wikipedia: Kat confesses to Bianca that she dated Joey when they were freshmen and, succumbing to peer pressure, had sex with him. Afterward she regretted it and Joey dumped her, so she vowed to never again do anything just because everyone else was doing it.
This film has John Hughes vibes all over it. easily in my top 5 teenage films along with The breakfast club, Sixteen Candles, Ferris Bueller's Days Off and Easy A. Another modern day teenage film that has John Hughes vibes all over it.
Excuse me? "In case you haven't seen the film consider this your spoiler alert..."?!? In case you haven't seen the film...."Welcome to Earth, please enjoy one of our greatest guilty pleasures!"
*MY FAVORITES:* Kat reads her poem; Cameron calls out Bianca's selfishness; Patrick gifts Kat; Kat flashes Coach Chapin; Bianca punches Joey; Kat and Patrick go paintballing; and Patrick serenades Kat
One of the best adaptations of a literary classic. This 90s movie is a classic for many reasons. Countless memorable scenes. Great cast, sass, the protagonist is atypical, memorable lines, comedic, romantic, love it!😍😁👌🏻
This movie has special place in my heart❤ i can watch it over and over again.. Julia, Heath, Joseph, Larisa, David, Andrew, Gabrielle, Susan.. Love them all so much...
We recently discussed the movie at university in comparison to Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew" which the movie is loosely based on. I prefer the movie!! The play is so incredibly sexist!
We got use this movie as part of our Shakespeares' unit in English class. My favourite part is when Kat rams the end of her car into Joey's and Patrick is watching then he cracks up laughing.
I hate rom coms and especially high school based. But i loved this one. May coz i could relate with kat so much and i always thought patrick is the guy for me
Kelligrace Hernandez first time I’ve seen the movie was when I was 14 in 2000, and loved it and won’t ever get tired of it. I’ll also show my little boy this movie when he’s older :) yes it’s truly a classic and especially a true late 90s movie
In my Readings in the Drama class, we watched this after reading The Taming of the Shrew, and the classic adaption with Elizabeth Taylor. I like this one because it really reflects life now, with a lot of humor. 🙂
This movie will always be my early teenage best memory. I remember having my sister driving my friend and I to blockbuster to rent a movie on Fridays. Most of the time we ended up renting 10 things again and again 🥰. Buying snacks and marshmallows. Those were good times!! ❤
Just watched the movie. Another one added to the list of movies that makes me cry at night realizing I'm a single nugget who will never come close to having this kind of romance. 😭😭😭
When Bianca punched Joey, it was like the punch scene from Back to the Future but with the genders reversed. Bianca even asked Patrick if he was okay like in BttF
Funny how Heath's grin can be charming in one movie and super creepy in another.
Depends on the colour of the paint he's wearing, isn't it?
Right?! Lol
That's what actors do
Because Heath was a good looking guy except when he was dressed up as Joker
but even as a Joker he showed charisma, and his Joker was attractive to me.
the teacher in this movie is easily underrated. he was hilarious
I quote "Someday you're gonna get bitch slapped and I'm not going to do a thing to stop it." on an almost daily basis.
The teacher was clowning
I love him
so is the principal allison janney
U mean overlooked
I love this movie, every scene is iconic and it will never get old.
i like the ur lie in april profile pic (i know its off topic, but come on) lol
rigbyrocks360 lol thanks 😂😂😂
ur welcome :)
How about the scene when Michael told Cameron not to touch something because he may get hepatitis. But Michael touch a 🎱 anyway.
Thats truth 👍👍👍🎥📺
I couldn't believe how much I liked the movie when i started watching it for the first time. Definitely underrated. Was I the only one who bawled when she gave that speech in the end??
Karne Asada No
Karne Asada i cried too T^T
I just watched, I cried too at that speech.😭
Same soo underrated I watch it like once a fortnight none of my friends understand it 😂
my mom always cries at the end of this and shes 70 lol
"Joey is not half the man you are..." Best bromance moment of the 90s, lol
#1 Heath Ledger's existence.
This movie wouldn't be good without him. Never ever should hollywood try to make this again.
Heath you left so soon, but swooned our hearts forever
Snow Anaya they remade it on abc 😷
Venessa Lockhart Why ... why .. WHY ?? Who the fuck approved this have they no shame. There are some movies you can't mess with and this is one of them.
Fuck... I still would watch at least one episode to see how it looks. I mean gotta give stuff a chance.
Thiti2000 * sings* "NOOOO FUUUCKING WAAAYYY."
I know right... a part of me is *still* hoping that he's still some what alive.. I know it's weird but it's true.. 😢😭
Snow Anaya I'm gonna just pretend it doesn't exist 😂
I think the pregnant belly should have made an honorable mention.
And Heath saying 'hey, who knocked up your sister?"
Jixie Dye i died when he made that comment.
@@helinrafikraoof7709 same here
I like this scene
Jixie Dye omg yes I love that 😂
The number 1 moment has to be when he sung to her
Awww it was #2
I'm OK with the poem being number #1
I loved that moment i wishhed that was the frist as well
My love for Heath started with 10 things. such a classic.
What about their hilarious dad??
"Ooops"
"OOOPS?!" ^^
Sandcastles Inthesand2017 "My insurance does not cover PMS!" XD
Ahahahahaah!!! Yes! "Then I'll get to sleep at night! The deep slumber of a father who's daughters aren't out being impregnated."
Its just a party dad !
-And hell is just A saouna
''What's a Bogey Lowenstein?''
Their dad is a legend. Hysterical all way through
"The shit hath hitteth the fan" is the best quote ever.
Indeed. But i believe it was "The shit hath hitith the fan... ith." 😂
One of those movies I can watch over and over and never get tired of
Heath's smile kills me everytime
Can we talk about Bianca’s dress like wtf is is 😂
IKR
Everytime I watch it I'm just like "Why?"
I love pink and have hated that for two damn decades.
fr, i kept trying to convince myself it was pretty because i didnt want to ruin the moment, but it was just too bad😭
Thank you. For 20 years have i hated that dress, and now i finally get to hear that other people hate it just as much. I thought there was something wrong with my eyes or something 😂
Patrick and Cameron kinda looked like brothers in this movie ( that's what I personally think)
Semiha Salami I thought I was the only person that could kinda see it!!!
i thought cameron was a younger patrick at first lol
Super cute brothers 💕
Same Here!
Heath Ledger and Joseph Gordon Lewitt looks so alike, I couldn't tell which one is who. 😂
I'm taking my girlfriend to the paintball location in Seattle to propose to her.
Are you married now?
Aww that's so sweet
That's just adorable mate, good luck! Unless it already happened then congrats
NIIIIIICE BRO
Awww
Hope you guys got married
I love it when Kat's father says "Whoops? My insurance does not cover PMS!" after she backed into Joey's car. And Kat "Well, then tell them i had a seizure."
That would be even worse, realistically she wouldn't be able to drive for six months at the most.
FAVORITE MOVIE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD 😍😍😍😍😍😍

OMG IM NOT THE ONLY ONE!!!! 😍😍😍
Same i love this movie
Same hahaha but drive me crazy is also a good one HAHAHA

Brooke Walley believe it or not... but I feel like I'm going to be going through that faze very soon... and there is going to be *no way out* 😔😢😭❤
Heath Ledger is legend and he will be always in my ❤. this movie is totally beautiful! ❤😍 I've already watched it for like 20 times and it will be always my TOP! ❤

Love him always 😭☺️
The best moment is Kat's poem.
Even though she was duped by both Joey and Patrick, deep down she can't help but show her repressed feelings for him. It's also a beautiful moment when you find out that Julia Stiles got all emotional and cried real tears during filming.
Cried my eyes out. 😢
I watched this movie for the first time ever, this month. I am now obsessed and have a favorite movie.
When he sang to her "Can't take my eyes off of you" it inspired me to seranate and propose to my girlfriend who is now my wife! One of my favorite movies
I just came here to say that Heath & Julia were magical together. Such a great film. RIP Heath 🌹💔
And the soundtrack was amazing. Every time I hear it, feels good.
What's a good scene is when cat rams joeys car
''What is it, asshole day?''
That's what happens when You cross Paths with a DODGE DART ! BOOM.
Ugh I love Heaths voice❤️
Paula Greenwood and the accent aaaah
😍😍😍i do too
@@martamarkovic5937 Gawd yes, the accent 🤤😍
I love this movie so much ❤
Magical Mystery Girl Same💕😍
me too. even today, after so many years.... it does not get old.
Same 😁😁😁🎥👍👌
I saw this movie when I was a teenager when it was brand new and loved it. Then I bought it and memorized makes me feel old. my favorite part is when Bianca is invited to bogeys party and the invitations are thrown down the stairwell of the school.
Somber Stricken the part where they throw the invitations is my fav too! 💕 it is such an aesthetic image!!!
For years and years I scoured the Internet to find the song they played during that scene
I think when Kat and Biana reconciled and Kat told her about Joey should have been on the list.
You are regarding those as separate scenes, right? Bianca was pretty annoyed when Kat first told her about it. They only really made up later, but at least Bianca was able to make the right about choice about who to go to prom with.
I can't remember but was Kat raped by Joey?
@@andreasmeelie1889 No, he didn't - I just copied from wikipedia: Kat confesses to Bianca that she dated Joey when they were freshmen and, succumbing to peer pressure, had sex with him. Afterward she regretted it and Joey dumped her, so she vowed to never again do anything just because everyone else was doing it.
Blaues Pony gotcha I looked it up myself too but thanks anyways😊
My favorites are the paintball scene, and when Bianca beats up Joey
I'm BACK IN THE GAME
Heath singing should have been #1! 😁
I have to watch this film. Just for Heath Ledger :'(
If you have Netflix they have it on there. Reeatched it for like the 25th time two weeks ago.
VB MUTT that's the reason I first watched this movie too
Me too 😟😓😢😭❤
VB MUTT you should. It's a classic!
Same
This film has John Hughes vibes all over it. easily in my top 5 teenage films along with The breakfast club, Sixteen Candles, Ferris Bueller's Days Off and Easy A. Another modern day teenage film that has John Hughes vibes all over it.
Kat smiling at the fact that she gets called a bitch is such a mood.
Mr. Stratford had some iconic lines
My favorite is:
Chastity: Mr. Stratford, it's just a party.
Mr. Stratford: And hell is just a sauna...
Excuse me? "In case you haven't seen the film consider this your spoiler alert..."?!? In case you haven't seen the film...."Welcome to Earth, please enjoy one of our greatest guilty pleasures!"
So true. Best comment on here.

Love this entire movie. Makes me cry every time & gives me hope for the future.
Im starting to admire comedy movies from the 90s, wish movies were more like this in today's world
My favorite part is when Patrick's running after Kat when she leaves Bogey's party and he clearly yells "KATE!"
Me near, okay? aaaah I swooned at that part. It was probably the accent😍
Who hasn't seen this movie?! Classic!
Kelligrace Hernandez first time I’ve seen the movie was when I was 14 in 2000, and loved it and won’t ever get tired of it. I’ll also show my little boy this movie when he’s older :) yes it’s truly a classic and especially a true late 90s movie
Lol I watched it for the first time last night 😂 I just found it on tv and decided to watch it cuz why not my parents are asleep they can’t stop me
I -LIKE- LOVE this movie
If the table dance or Heath Ledger singing to Kat isn’t Number one, I don’t believe in this channel anymore lol.
In my Readings in the Drama class, we watched this after reading The Taming of the Shrew, and the classic adaption with Elizabeth Taylor. I like this one because it really reflects life now, with a lot of humor. 🙂
This has to be one of my top ten favorite movies of all time.
My favorite is when Bianca punches Joey because i found it hilarious and he deserved it
Number #10
Is my favorite moment from the movie.
Thanks Heath for that advice.
This is really my favorite of his performaces.
The 'plan' is obviously the best moment. "Now that I've show you the plan, I'll go show the rest of the team"
This movie will always be my early teenage best memory.
I remember having my sister driving my friend and I to blockbuster to rent a movie on Fridays. Most of the time we ended up renting 10 things again and again 🥰. Buying snacks and marshmallows. Those were good times!! ❤

Number 4 is epic: the epitome of the movie 🎥 for me! Go Bianca!!
great list definitely got no 1 and 2 right :o) can't watch the poem reading without bringing a tear to my eye.
I think when Kat backed into Joey’s car and “Whoops?! My insurance doesn’t cover PMS!” moment should’ve been an honorable mention
Just watched the movie. Another one added to the list of movies that makes me cry at night realizing I'm a single nugget who will never come close to having this kind of romance. 😭😭😭
That serenading scene was Heath Ledger's best performance before doing the joker.
I never clicked so fast😍😍😍 ❤HEATH❤
Perfect video! The poem is my favorite scene too.
I am not a big fan of teen, tween, Young adult comedies or almost any comedies, but this was an exeption, it was a very entertaining movie.
I think the whole movie is iconic
When Bianca punched Joey
When Patrick humiliated himself to apologize to Kat
The paintball date and kiss afterward
Kat reading her poem to the class
I watched this movie last night and I love it ♥️♥️♥️ the two love story’s are AMAZING
iconic piece of cinema. will be watched through the ages etc etc~
My favorite teen high school movie EVER!
When Bianca punched Joey, it was like the punch scene from Back to the Future but with the genders reversed. Bianca even asked Patrick if he was okay like in BttF
Michael down on his bike!! That should have been added atleast in the honourable mentions 😂😂🔥
The most underrated movie ever👏
Fav romantic Film😍
ugh this movie is my life
You rarely include this movie on your lists yet you make a top ten about it. I love it but still.
The guitar that Patrick bought her wasn’t just one that looked like the one he saw her playing, it was the one he saw her playing.
The shit... hath hitteth... the fan...eth.
One of the best line ever uttered in a movie.
What about the club scene when the music went down and everyone heard Patrick yell😭
Omggggg this moving is what started my dads dating rules 😂😂 but I still love it

When Kat's father asks her if she made anyone cry today and she replys it's only 4pm
