This is such a very beautiful and inspirational video of one of our Palauan culture's traditional practices that has been with us through generations. Thank you for sharing with us this video where people both Palauans and others to be able to see and enjoy it. We all thank you, Adelbai ra Tang, and your family for sharing this personal video of this traditional event. May Dibuk, her son, and her husband continue to live their lives with joy and happiness in the years to come.
What a wonderful traditional ceremony carried on through generations, which I'm certain it will continue on for years to come. And, a beautiful and stunning daughter who happens to be my niece. Lots of love to you my Brother Alan and family. I'm happy to notice in the video that my sister Ann is enjoying herself too 💖 😊 💕 ❤
And when the gates closed as you walked back inside the house and you had a moment with your many aunties and Kairo family as they danced around you !!, 🤧🥰 Ahhhhh I cryyyy!!!! What a beautiful moment that was to see!!😭🥰
I cried throughout the whole video. What a beautiful Omengat. You can feel the love of family/friends and the unity of both families through the video. I can imagine how you both must've felt that day. Blessings on Blessings to you and your little family Dibuk!!
Ahh I was wondering, it's for a 1 year birthday but why the lady gives the people attention, now I know his the boys mother..his so big n cute..yeah thanks for sharing your culture for the world to see..happy birthday to the baby ❤..
It actually isn’t for the baby’s birthday! It’s to celebrate the life of the woman after a successful and healthy birth. The tradition was started when our people discovered natural birth and no longer had to cut the baby out and sacrifice the mother 😊 so in this specific tradition it’s to celebrate the mother and the baby
