My favorite stage is Australia, where we can fight man-eating plants, snakes, Pteranodons and T-Rexes/Allosauruses in a prehistoric setting akin to Joe & Mac

@@NicknooVisionI think the developers wanted to make a sequel to Tumble Pop (if released after that game) but this time wanted to go for a different fight mechanism than using hoovers which in this case would still make more sense. Just a boy and a girl going around the world fighting monsters, ghosts, robots etc.
I have had a Diet Go-Go arcade board on my repair bench and i agree it is quite an unusual game that reminded me of others like Snow Bros and even Parodius as well because it is so whacky.
Very nice game ... similar in terms of gameplay with some other Data East games ("Funky Jet" and "Tumble Pop" come to my mind) and their numerous Korean rip-offs ... BTW, do you intend to also make a longplay for these Data East games ?

After seeing this mentioned on a Jontron video ages ago, this game is as bonkers as it looks, to the point where I am questioning if there wasn’t any substances used while making this game
The music on this longplay is very slow compared to the actual game, and on the bonus stages you miss on the "diet" bottle, if you collect that and the rest bonuses you get a "perfect" at the end of the bonus stage and more points ^_^
The 2 characters of go go diet the guy in blue & the gal in pink reminds me roll and mega man from the rockman series of capcom and oh. the different version of Dr Albert willy is the evil scientist Dr. Fat and where's Dr. silm of go go diet did he appear in the game that data east created
