Hi Liam tuffs what a brilliant interview. I'm from sheffield next to rotherham and heard all about sammy woodhouse from people who know her. I knew mad ash very well but.didnt know he was like this. I was in prison with him before nowt todo with sammy and never knew he was like this. I know what it takes to stand up and go through the process with the police and courts to get him done and it takes alot of courage. I too have been a victim of sexual abuse so can relate to sammy....BY FAR THE BEST INTERVIEW YOU HAVE DONE....ITS GOOD AND DIFFERENT TO UR NORMAL GANGSTER INTERVIEWS WHICH ARE ALSO GREAT AND GOOD VIEWING but just love and think this is ur best interview....big respect Liam tuffs and ABSOLUTE ADMIRATION FOR SAMMY WOODHOUSE she shud be inspiration for other females n males to come forward and speak out about their nightmare and get some closure....Nice Liam tuffs

The law of concent. No one under the age of 16 can consent to sex with an adult. It's statutory Grape. It's the very reason the law exists. Shame on the Police and the Authorities for turning a blind eye to this.

Very eye opening. Thank you for this. It would be interesting to see an interview from her dad's perspective. Being a dad myself it would be my worst nightmare if anything like this happened to my kids. Or loved one. It would be just as informative I feel to see how he delt with it and if he would have done anything different. Literally just from the point of view from a protective father. All the best 💚

Thanks for covering this Liam. Sammy, what a brave lady you are to share your story. I can categorically say that this is still going on in certain Northern towns. The authorities still do not protect our young girls for fear of being branded racist. Thank God for the likes of Maggie Oliver, who advocates for young girls who would otherwise not have a voice. I do agree that if a crime is being committed and these sick things are going on people do need to voice them, yes it is a scary but it’s also getting your voice out, outing these bad people and protecting innocent children from being groomed & their life tarnished & ruined. Parents need to communicate with kids daily, show them videos and tell them if these things, yes again it is scary for them to hear but may well protect them. Stay safe ppl, look out for eachother. And stay away from weird people that think these things going on are ok.

The strange death of PC Hassan Ali should tell you all that you need to know about the scandal. I certainly don't buy the excuse from Nadim Bashir that it was an "accident" when he was run over and killed, not to mention this incident oddly occurred the same day PC Ali was placed on restricted duties by South Yorkshire Police due to an investigation surrounding the scandal.

@@goodbyebluesky43 Yes. The media portrayed them as coming from troubled homes, which made them natural victims. The reality was it was simply their age and naivety which made them vulnerable. The victims belonged to all social groups. Some were in council care, some came from single parent households, some came from 2 parent families, some were from the working class, some were from the middle class.
By aiming the responsibility at their home circumstances, it mitigated it away from the perpetrators. It's extremely relevant

I live in the village/town next door to the 1510 victims. Mr F Hussain who was Labour cabinet member at the time for community and cohesion was NAMED (much of the report was anonymous), and forced resigned his cabinet position at Rotherham Council as he stifled investigations of the council and the Police into looking into the terror rapes. He used the racism card. In 2022 he was promoted to the NATIONAL LEAD in the NHS for 'diversity and inclusion' in the NHS and an expert on 'Isla***obia'. He was only removed following a media led inquiry (I believe it was media led). So much for the female victims. I wonder what he is doing now. Unfathomable.
