I'm 50 hours into my first playthrough right now and still using them they're so strong. Casters don't get much in the way of variety when it comes to their weapons and armor, just spells. lol
Watching him play aggravates the hell outta me. I swear he misses loot on purpose to get chat going or just refuses to pick stuff up that coulda made his play through a lot more fun. Either way still a good series.

A trick to beating the Erdtree Avatar for those who aren't as adept at close combat is that, on the other side of the tree is a hidden catacomb entrance. If you run in there, the Avatar can only stomp around at the entrance. I was able to whittle away his health bar with stuff like Glinstone pebble from inside. Also, after a while he forgets about you and will wander back around the three. I beat him through sneak attacks and hiding 😆
And the other guy talking keeps leading him away from caves and shit when chat does try to help, he missed on cave then chat told him and the other talking guy just cry’s about chat screwing him over and asmongold should not trust them

I know we all got to play our own way, but this seems like such a waste of a playthrough.

@@jmkos86 It would, but just because you can make things more difficult doesn't mean you SHOULD. Elden ring feels good the way it's balanced now. The game is already punishingly difficult the way it is now. If you want the game to be harder, just dont' use summons/phantoms. There are also challenge runs if it's still not hard enough for you. As of Steam right now, only about a 5th of the players have even beaten the game, that's very low. I don't think it needs to be harder.

Every previous FromSoft game has had a means of placating NPC's the player has turned hostile and it's accessible pretty early on. This one is no exception but no, let's kill an NPC we know nothing about. RIP, D. 😥 I also love how he spends several hours steamrolling everything in sight in the lower level areas then wanders into an zone that is slightly higher level and declares the first boss he meets "legitimately fucking challenging". Not really. It's a reskin of a boss he effortlessly stomped earlier which only has like five attacks, most of which are recycled from the asylum demon from DS1. The difference is the Caelid erdtree avatar actually did damage to him. This being an open world game, it's kind of unavoidable to end up doing stuff you've outgrown, especially if you're exploring the whole map but still, it's really entertaining watching where people's curiosity takes them. I love this game. 🤣

In DS3 there were like 8 or 9 bosses who did that if you count the DLC, but the most part they should never use that, it's annoying.

@@jmkos86 It would, but just because you can make things more difficult doesn't mean you SHOULD. Elden ring feels good the way it's balanced now.
The game is already punishingly difficult the way it is now. If you want the game to be harder, just dont' use summons/phantoms. There are also challenge runs if it's still not hard enough for you.
As of Steam right now, only about a 5th of the players have even beaten the game, that's very low. I don't think it needs to be harder.
@@shadowlife15 that’s fine. Another idea would be to add a mode for those that have beaten the game and reached a certain level that would give the enemy ai more survival options.

Every previous FromSoft game has had a means of placating NPC's the player has turned hostile and it's accessible pretty early on. This one is no exception but no, let's kill an NPC we know nothing about. RIP, D. 😥
I also love how he spends several hours steamrolling everything in sight in the lower level areas then wanders into an zone that is slightly higher level and declares the first boss he meets "legitimately fucking challenging". Not really. It's a reskin of a boss he effortlessly stomped earlier which only has like five attacks, most of which are recycled from the asylum demon from DS1. The difference is the Caelid erdtree avatar actually did damage to him. This being an open world game, it's kind of unavoidable to end up doing stuff you've outgrown, especially if you're exploring the whole map but still, it's really entertaining watching where people's curiosity takes them. I love this game. 🤣

I now understand after watching the first 5 episodes of this why his chat always say he cheesed the game. He is one tapping everything so far because he got that weapon. Tbf he had to beat the tree Sentinal horse dude to get it but that decision made him so OP. Cheese.
It´s an insanely pleasant feeling, whenever he is finally paying attention to chat and misses one thing of loot or one mechanic less.

Oh noooo...he got the update patch? The patch makes the game a lot easier. I'm loving the fact that I'm playing version 1.00 before they turned down the difficulty of bosses for people who were whining. Lol
Did he ever use anything in this game at all? Has he ever looked at his inventory at all? Does he ever experiment with any other weapons? It's fun to watch but what a waste of a playthrough. Probably the fact that he got a broken weapon at the beginning kept him from having to explore the mechanics. Can't wait to see what he does later when they nerf this weapon. I'm pretty sure they did that before he finished.

I wonder how much Asmon pays McConnell for the acting ( HOLY COW DUDE, THATS INSANE- acting ) and randomly engage in making people sub. like 10% cut ?. known each other for a long time, could be even more when "They put up a show" as they say (And a very good and entertaining one indeed). I honestly wish em all the best, i just wonder since McConnell doesn't even have to stream or have a job.
The only time Asmon paid him was when he bought him new pc, and even that was considered like a birthday gift. McConell is one of his oldest friends that just comes to discord.

He's bad at finding things blindly in a massive world, duh, but he doesn't need the greatest gear neither. And yet I find myself annoyed by the fact he's not even trying to clear the map
Is a real challenge to watch him play anything. He is extremely unorganized, sloppy, messy and hasty. Can't even move the am mouse a bit slower to watch what is around him. Probably a lot like in his real life from what we see in his home behind him.

Was it just me or was Godrick like super easy. Margot absolutely thrashed my ass, but I beat Godrick in like 4 or 5 try’s. Then the witch(forget her name) also thrashed me
This was the case for me as well. Margot stomped me into the ground, but I managed Godrick on my first try.
