Interesting. The size & shape of this tenacious is really growing on me. I like it more than I thought I would. The military just seems like it would be so big for an EDC carry?
@@BladesOnABudget it is on the bigger side but I like bigger knives. The manix 2 and the endura 4 is also a good edc. The endura is so light I forget I’m carrying it. Love your content by the way.
Wow. Didn't know they made it with M4. That sounds really good! 🤔 Just did some cut testing today with this one. It turned out surprisingly well! 🙌 Video coming soon.
I would prefer the D2 as well. But I already had another knife in D2 for testing & just needed to find a good quality 8CR somewhere. We're gonna see how well it compares!
I got excited when I saw a titanium tenacious, but the saw it still has 8cr steel. Nothing wrong with 8cr but if your doing tiitanium put a better steel.
I needed the 8CR for the cut testing. Wanted to find the best 8CR I could get to set the baseline. Just did the testing today. It did surprisingly well! Video coming soon.
With all the budget knives you own, it would be great to see you invest in a hardness tester to check if the manufacturers' claims match the actual results.
I actually just looked them up. I thought you had to get that huge machine that all of the knife manufacturers use & thought it would be $10k+. Didn't realize you could get smaller ones for
You got this! More future content = more views = more money = more knives. The $10K hardness tester might be more accurate, but if you do an average of 5 measurements, the more budget-friendly tester would be worth it.😅
Wow! A $65 Spyderco! Not a huge fan of liner locks, but... dang... I have two knobs left to get before I can call it a stop for now. One is a Spyderco, and the other is the Vision in Damascus Very interested to hear the cut test results Sencut actually printed me out a FedEx label so I can send my knife back and they could fix it for me I'll keep you present that situation Thanks again, Fred ❤
Got my first spydie yesterday. Para 3 15v lw. Feels cheap. Like a bugout. Bought it for the steel amd to give spyderco a try. Maybe new scales? Which isnt as ez as the non lw models
Nice! I bet it will become one of your favorites. They really do grow on you once you get them dialed in a little bit. Would love to hear what you think about it in a week or two.
You don't get better heat treats than Spyderco, out of the production folder market. The chinese knife steel nerd company is Kunwu, and they do insane stuff with m390 and various other steels, so if you want steels pushed to the limits, try them out.
Be mindful of Amazon fakes. Buy from a reputable knife retailer. Back in 21&22 there was a run of fakes posted on Syderco forums. Not sure why I overlooked this model, may pick one up.
Love my tenacious. It's my daily carry for 6 months. . keep up the great content!
I am not a fan of finger choils so this series of Spyderco's is right up my ally. I have the Tenacious, Resilience and Ambitious and love them all!
I absolutely love mine. great purchase!
I get an outstanding tutorial and we always look forward to it thank you again every weekend my friend
Thanks Enrique! :-)
My first Spyderco. I have 3 different Tenacious and rotate them in my EDC. But the military 2 has become one of my favorites.

Also try the Ganzo firebird knives, specifically the older models that are still available in 440c. Quality heat treatment on them
Good call! I don't have any 440C but I'm betting that would hold up nicely against some of these others too! Thanks! 👍
The M4 Tenacious has to be one of the best bang for buck knives out there.

I have the tenacious in m4 and ti scales. Perfect beater edc
Someone else mentioned the M4 too as being a great knife. May have to look into that! Thanks! 👍
I got one in D2 and I love it.

That's awesome man. Glad to hear they're taking care of you. 👍

I don't think the makers mark is normal for this model. 🤔
Looked kind of strange to me too. Maybe a fake from Amazon?
@BladesOnABudget or it's something new they added. I just seen a utube short video of a tenacious lite weight and it had the mark on it.
