What do you have you plugged into for the power that connects to the radio? There the wire for the e29 and there’s one that’s for e46
how did you put the decorating list because I have a problem with it
Did you have to cut back plastic in the dash (behind the dash) to get the unit to fit in the 3 services BMW?
no there is a separate dash kit you have to buy to make it all fit properly

I've got exactly same head unit,e46 how did you get the trim back in behind the unit? The gaps not big enough
i kind of forced it after a few tries i got it to fit

How did you secure the unit to the dash? I saw when you removed the old dash kit the fasteners came out with it.
Once you properly put everything back into place if you put the trim back on the space behind the screen it fits perfectly the only
Way to secure it is by properly putting the trim back it will hold the whole unit in place !! Subscribe to the channel while you’re at it !!!

i got your same radio.. but i dont know why the leds on the left side doesnt work anymore.. do u know where i can find some instruction how can i reset de system? probably i need to reboot or do something to the softwere

@@lucap3415 go to settings and find option for enabling it.

@@iskren6701 go to settings...then factory settings(you will need to enter password for this,usually 1234 or 8888)...in that settings you have loads of stuff,find the one that says light or buttons light or something like that. When you click on that mark uncheked squares and the buttons will light up.
What radio model is it?
I just got this unit and for some reason my sound doesn’t work everything else does is there something I could do ?
just double check all of your plugs are in properly. there shouldn't be any issues.

I installed the same head unit and program everything well but it say it's incompatible with Netflix what can I do?
i came across the same issue it seems that it wont let you download it but there are other apple car play apps you can download to bypass it if i figure it out ill make an update video!!!

Also my Android doesn't go in video mode when I put it in reverse do you where I put this parameter?
@@imestia7911 no solution it seems like.thw software with the unit won't allow you to download it but they allow you to download everything else besides Netflix and with the reverse comes with a camera you have to I stall that and wire it so it works properly

Does the steering wheel controls work, did it come with canbus decoder?
It did not I wasn’t able to get the steering wheel to work with it
I got the same radio , but the power conector is different a mean looks the same but the pins in the conector are different so it doesn't work on mine rip

Yes car play only works when you have your phone connected you can use Bluetooth tho if you want to listen to music without the cable

if you are trying to use the bluetooth you gotta go to bt music and connect your phone first if not then you might have a cord not connected properly check all plugs!!

It does not work for my steering wheel unfortunately you will have to find an adapter

I connected mine everything works(sound for radio works) but when I connect to Bluetooth, the audio doesn’t sound
There is a music app that you have to click on and when you link your Bluetooth there will be an option to play on Bluetooth

Doesn’t work for me cant turn car off or lock doors and sound doesn’t work also buttons do nothing rip
that sounds like a battery or alternator problem for your doors and stuff and make sure your plugging everything up properly remember to use the wire provided dont use oem
@@Champpaco its the headunit only does it with head unit powered on i can take the plug out while cars on and it fixes itself power conflicts or sum
