Very interesting model, to say the least. Here in Brazil VW only offered the Kombi in the Bus, Van, and Pick-Up configurations. I think the T2 body came out from '76 onwards if I'm not mistaken.

To own one of these at 17 is both fantastic and daunting. As you're able to do work yourself this is a huge bonus. What you have done so far is spot in, fuel tank, engine and gearbox. I'd have a look at the breaks and beam next. I just changed the ball joints and centre pin on my 71, a fairly straight forward job. Nice find👍
Thanks! That was around 2 years ago, I did the breaks when I got it (although they do need to be adjusted again). The only front end stuff I’ve done is lube. It’s been a pretty solid daily driver for the last year. I think we have more update videos but they’re also a bit old.

What is that bag on top of the closet? mine came with it but not sure what it's for nice bus by the way.
The child’s cot rolls up and rests on top of the closet. The bag is to hold the end of the cot.
I think the brown color at the bottom is rust preventer or rust converter.
