Beethoven Sonate op. 14 no. 2, 1st movement - Susan Adams, Broadwood 1809 Pianoforte

Susan describes this sonata as "Beethoven in a good mood". Our Broadwood grand piano was built 10 years after the piece was published, and it's the perfect instrument to complement Beethoven's fascinating composition. We are publishing each movement as a separate video and we'll also issue a complete version for viewers who want the whole sonata without interruption. There will be a companion video as well, where Clive and Susan talk about the piano and the experience of playing it. The piano was beautifully restored by Marinus Van Prattenburg in British Columbia, Canada.
