This is the second one I’ve seen with an underfloor wine cooler, what a brilliant idea, especially when the fridge is necessarily so small. Great boat all round.

Very nice. Due to my anti-social and hermit leanings I may retire to a narrow boat. I would require some key elements addressed: I would want a bath tub (full or half) for bathing two dogs (one at a time) a tap and hose on the stern (again, dogs), reverse layout would be preferred and two torpedo launchers and a twin 40mm bofors on the bow. JUST KIDDING - a single 40mm bofors on the bow will do.
All of our builds are bespoke made to suit the owners requirements - so within reason, anything is possible (within the confines of a narrowboat that is). We've fitted half baths before - although bear in mind that you'll then have a bigger hot water tank, and in turn a bigger fresh water tank....which both take up valuable extra space....everything is a compromise on a narrowboat! Good luck and happy retirement for when it comes.

Close to perfect. I prefer a corridor with the bath as small as practical off the corridor!!!!
Lovely and different. I could never get used to a walk-through bath, though, even though I'd be living alone! Just feels wrong.

They would say...Beautiful boats but unbelievably expensive and crowded...not the same.

Starting at £123,000 for a 57ft boat.
Does look nice but I have some concerns about the placement of certain essentials like the engine controls not being visible from the tiller ???? As described its a custom build and I do like all the nice little extras like the Pullman dinning table the stainless steel radiators, How are they heated ??? when the engine is not running.
We find that having the controls inside the cabin provides greater durability and is more secure. The panels have alarms and warning lights so can be heard easily from the deck. The radiators are heated a Webasto diesel heater that is operated independently of the engine. Hope that's of help.
Thank you for the reply..... interesting but essential option, having a back up diesel, hope thats kept on board. I never really liked noisy generator in a quiet spot. As said personally I would ask for options where my boat controls were "at hand", safe from all weather conditions and secured when moored. I guess thats a personal preference.

I a m looking at building a custom 58ft narrowboat, with raised Pullman dinette, a bedroom shower room with cassette toilet, washing mmachine, fridge & freezer, & oven & grill at above waste height& jobs at normal height, and have a cruiser stern with pram cover going all the way back the same way as the gents whom do the channel Foxes afloat have, and wondering what you guys do?
Hi Dean it really depends on the budget you have, we're at the top of the industry using lots of solid Oak and Ash with everything built to your own unique requirements. 👍

Being from South Africa and keen blogger to channel, what would one expect to pay for a boat with this specifications
Based on prices I have seen over the past several years you could expect to pay anything from £73000 and up for a boat like this.
blue Har that would not buy even the most basic of new narrowboats. They start from about £90,000 for a standard layout from builder specialising in boats built to a set design and basic "holiday" specification. Bespoke boats are significantly more expensive. For a hybrid drive you can easily add another £10,000 to £20,000. I suspect this boat is closer the the £125-150,000 price bracket.

@@spencerwilton5831 i was referring to decent 2nd hand boats but you are right, a new custom boat could definitely demand those prices.
being an american who would like to buy a narrow boat there are a few things ( american comfort ) that would be needed to help make the decision easier on a purchase , can you have or do you have a boat with a bath and a half ( loo) since most american travel trailers have a bath nd a half ? and also need a place to put a bigger tv than a 32 inch , standard average here is at least a 60 inch tv in the relaxing room
TRIPSWITHTOM Tom, I’m a retired designer. A 60” TV is too large to view properly across the width of a narrow boat. Go to an electronic store and seat yourself in front of different size screens to realize this!

$120,000 is not too bad for this.. you can find narrow boats for $40,000

This is a gorgeous boat however your camera skills need some work, you were far to close at times and I was struggling to see some things, please take this as constructive as your boats really are that good.
Thanks for the comments, I'm not a cameraman and never will be i'm afraid - I normally have about an hour to film as I'm busy running a business. It just provides an insight into what we do - and I find it provides more detail of a boat layout than photos. We have a Facebook page if you need to study anything in detail 👍
