- Let's take a look at the reason behind the perpetual rain thunderstorm on Yashiori island of Inazuma in Genshin Impact. You must have been struck with lightning here at least once and might have completed the world quest, but here's the complete story of how it started and how the traveler stopped the rain and solved most of Yashiori island's problems.

@@softpitier6985 Basically a fake company pretending to be Hoyo Mix copyrighting this creator's videos and other creators because it contains genshin music, when the actual Hoyo Mix themselves are happy that players use their music. And the copyrighting makes the creators not get any money from the vids they worked on.

The one thing that struck out with Inazuma is that this is the nation that started having World Quests that are their own storylines and I think the Archon Quest line for Inazuma being the way it was all things considered and that include how it was handled showed just how far removed the Shogun was from the plight of her people as she isolated herself in her grief and guilt.
The World Quest storylines in Inazuma were huge while also showing the state Inazuma was in as foreign powers wormed their way in and slowly crippled from within the nation she had isolated from the outside to protect and that included lasting remnants left behind from the disaster that took everything from her to begin with. She desire a nation that is unchanging so she would never again lose everything she loved and going as far as closing her heart from the world so she would never again have to experience loss and grief.
Ironic while she created the Sakkouku Decree to protect her nation from outside influence it was a foreigner who slowly brought harmony back to a nation that was plagued by the ruins of its' past. How the World Quests were handled in Inazuma became key to how World Quest Storylines were handled later on where completing each of them unlocks explorable areas to a nation area by area or even improve exploration on areas already traversable.
I really hate why people see ei in negative light. I do agree she is not the best archon out there but she was trying to protect the only thing she was left with,her nation. She is one of the people from the time of archon war and definitely lost a lot during the cataclysm . She just wanted good for her people but went in wrong direction by locking them up. yae miko did understand her but she knew the way ei was doing it in a wrong way.
hoyo should i taken more time in archon quest to show more about raiden shogun. Every archon we saw until now only wanted best for their nation and wanted to protect their people one way or the other. Ei is similar too. She also knew she wont be a good archon that's why she gave up bodily form for makoto.
@@Daisy999 Bit of a correction, Ei created a puppet body double for herself and it's just named Raiden Shogun no names or anything like that.
@@Daisy999 It's fine to put her in a negative light too, as she had made mistakes. However, I do admittedly have issue with those that blatantly ignore the positives that she had brought to Inazuma regardless if it was through Raiden Shogun or not.

inazuma is still the most memorable part of Genshin Impact for me and lots of characters that I love especially Raiden Shogun.

I like the callback to Inazuman lore! I hope we get more Inazuma content in the future, because I feel like a lot of its story issues can be resolved with some amendments. I'd especially love more lore about the Yokai!
Yokai lore is probably coming in more story events like the akitsu domeki event with the introduction of the tsugomomo
Sadly we’ll get more lores of either the current version’s region or Liyue… or maybe Monstadt since the port isn’t released yet
Inazuma’s lore feels completed right now. There’s little to nothing more to add 😐
there is still an area they called Violet sea, the location said on the left side and the southern part of port ormos where if you are in sumeru there is a dialogue where someone sailed there to kill the monster on the purple sea, it is theorized the electro dragon sovereign sealed there @@discreaminant
i actually really liked the storm and while getting rid of it made some of the exploration easier, i miss the atmosphere it created. that, and i still mained kaeya and fischl at the time, so it worked in my favour...
I do miss the thunderstorm. Annoying, but it made everything one the island very eerie. Loved it.

Dude! I upgrade my Kitain Cross Spear from Level 20 to 90 and 2 hours later I find a lore video mentioning the spear. Fate really plays out in mysterious ways.

When I first arrived in Inazuma I gave it the nickname; "The Islands of Death", because between the over powered enemies, the thunder storms, the lightening, the lightening trees that attacked you, and the electrified water, you just got ping ponged around until you died. The devs balanced everything out eventually and you could heal Inazuma of most of these but I'll always remember those terrifying days. XD
I can still remember how I did this world quest and I really enjoyed it back then when I only started playing the game (around v2.5). There are many stories within the island and I can remember that kid who tricks us about crystal marrows but in fact he has a sad backstory and some of the warriors and bandits that perished in there.

I honestly love the eternal rain, it gets annoying when everything is always in the light and looks the same. (Inazuma during the day looks the same as mondstadt mountains 😭)

I really miss Tsrumi Island red sky & lightning fog, THAT was SO amazing. Because of the chaos you couldnt really appreciate the vibe but oh man, i really hope the bring the red sky back in Khaenri'ah or something!

When the Electro Archon seeks peace, Sangonomiya are also adding problems for Raiden and her people. If only Watatsumi people had asked for a safe diplomat route (not too greedy invading Yashiori island and not playing victim on their serpent god's death) bloodshed and lingering grudges would have been avoided at the very least.

1:14 any source or such on the 3700 date? I didn't think there was much of a guess on the date of the end of Orobashi's revolt. But probably 2000-2500 years ago? But that assumes that ending the revolt and Makoto controlling all Inazuma is the flag for the end of the Archon war in Inazuma. No particular reason to assume Orobashi was the last block to ending that war in Inazuma, so it could have been earlier during the war.

Right. It's good that at least someone corrected it. There is not a word in the lore about the date of Orobasi's murder. And the war of the archons, and its end, lasted a very long time. The events could have been much later than the becoming of the Venti archon.
It's a pity that an NPC had more consequences in Inazuma than Signora and Scaramouche... You can really tell they didn't think much
Its a pretty realistic scenario in my opinion even if it isnt wanted, which it probably is.
Big " villains dont need to have automatically more consequences than a random guy on the streets, thats Just not how it works.
Signora turned into ashes wdym. Scara had his ass beated up later on in Sumeru then deleted himself from history. They both got consequences. It's funny how you didn't mention Raiden lmao. She was a huge part of that absolute disaster, and basically everything Scara did is on her and Dotore after all. But she still sits on the thrown like nothing happened while eating her sweets.

I just noticed, and cmiiw. The only region where Fatui is not really a threat is in Fontaine, even they help people of Fontaine while in other region they create a mess out of something. It just a detail that I just realized, nothing much to discuss.

This map starts me to hate Raiden until I finish the world quest. I have no idea that never ending thunder is connected to some world quest.
The thunderstorm in Yashiori Island wasn't Raiden's fault though. If any, either she or her subordinates in the past were the ones responsible for sealing the Tatarigami. A bunch of radicals from Watatsumi, after being coerced by a Fatui agent, were the ones responsible for the disaster by unsealing the seal on the Tatarigami. The person from Inazuma who was responsible for incidents happening after the unsealing of the Tatarigami is Kujou Takayuki, since he purposefully murdered Inazumans who lived in Yashiori island so that they can't report about said incident to the Shogun.
Quick question: was it Raiden Makoto who made the Narukami pillars to suppress the storm, or was it Raiden Ei?
I think it was Raiden Ei, considering she's the one who killed Orabashi

I feel it's Makoto since Ei is mainly for extreme combat. Sealing can be an easy job for archons. Just a hunch

Ahahaha.... I'm playing since 1.0 and I finished every quest I could find... Except Orobashis Legacy xD I seem to be the only person who prefers Yashiori with stormy weather, which is why I refused to finish the quest up until now. RIP all the NPCs who still die or can't return because of the remaining tatarigami x'D
Still thinking that this could have been avoided, just saying. But that aside, it comes to show after the traveler knock some sense into her,, we kinda ended up restoring and cleaning up the messes that the Fatui made. I just hope this could stay like this in a long run.
Makes you wonder, what would really happen if us the traveller never went to Inazuma....
