Just imagine, Enknanomiya may tell us more history then now when the new update is released. But somehow I got a funny theory in my mind that the 7 sunchildren seem to have something similar to the 7 archons.. I mean there is one who sing and play an lyre which is similar to Venti who act as a bard. One who is knowledgeable like how Zhongli is. One who build figurines of lady, and we got Ei who created a few puppet herself. While I am thinking of how some of the sun children got some similar traits, I might also be overthinking too. Though I prefer the wait and see; yet it’s not uncommon to see Mihoyo dropping some Easter eggs or something similar to the lore.
could this be hinting at baizhu being the dendro archon, because risu caught a terrible illness when he was young and knows about medicine, just like baizhu?
Orupesus has a skill in playing the lyre like venti. Risutaiosu loved making lifelike sculptures like raiden. Rikour built a mini dainichi mikoshi almost like how nahida makes this house Ion was versed in fortune telling like how furina was obsessed with the prophecy.
I think it should also be added that during the years of darkness a ship captain tried to find a way back to surface but instead discovered a tribe of people who used a special type of lotus as their source of food. Meaning that Byakuyakoku wasn't the only civilization that fell underground during the great war
Well, what do you expect when one of the biggest war between two superior beings destroyed the whole world? Obviously many civilizations were going all over the place and trying to survive.

4:21 In here there were '7' sunchildren. In Teyvat, there 7 Archons. The first sunchild loves music and PLAYS THE LYRE - like venti Another one creates stuff out of clay - something zhongli can do (Not sure about the rest of them) The seven archons most likely aren't the sunchildren themselves but they might be based off the sunchildren
More like the other way around because Zhongli is far older than the events of Byakuyakoku. He's 6000+ years of age, how could he be based of the Sunchildren? It should be the other way around.
The info we have here can be divided into four chapters: • The Primordial War • The Creation of Enkanomiya and its Affairs • Orobashi's Reign and; • Watatsumi and its History
Well lets see their parallels with the Archons: Orupeusu = Venti: Wise / Poetic, Themes of Death, Honoring Friendship, Songs & The Lyre, Grievances (quite obvious, additional his waiting for someones return, might be Istaroth 😢) Surepio = Egeria/Focalor: Emphatic, Theme of Fate, Cruel Fate, Desperate Fight, Saving others from Fate (at first I though Rukh, but in essence he was similar to Egeria/Focalor desiring to save them from their impending doom) Risutaiosu = Zhongli: Objective / Observant, Imitating Someone Craft, Created Many Things, Criticize Others Work, Knowledgeable of Many Things (some are obvious, imitating/learning to someone maybe Guizhong 😢, also he created a body for Azdaha) Isumenasu = Ei: Stuborn, Theme of Comflicting Views, Boat & Ocean (I am thinking about the Tsaritsa but I remember about Ei and its Flawed View) Rikoru = Pyro Archon: Proud/ Competitive, Theme of Constant Competition (I think it is the Pyro Archon, because of his competitive spirit) Ion = Rukhadevata/Nahida: Theme Ignorance, Ignorance is Bliss, Truth Interfered or Hided (I switched it to Rukh, because of some similarities valuing Ignorance) Piramumon = Cryo Archon: Theme the Outside World, Desire to know the Truth, Probably Desire for others know to (well it was the last, obviously its the Tsaritsa but still innocent & bright 😢)

it ws so depressing to explore...what an amazing region note: it is not confirmed who won the war between second one and primordial one, enkanomiya ppl just assumed it was primordial one...could be second one. which makes sense cuz primordial one cared about humanity...why would he ban them from returning?
Honestly I agree. The Second Who Came could've won the war. That's why people of Enkanomiya got yeeted to the depths and none of their prayers and lamentations are heard by Primordial One (Phanes) and its 3 shades. Tokoyo Ookami/Kairos is the only shade of Phanes that stayed with Enkanomiya people and maybe protected them to some extent. Primordial One is in sync with humanity -- if humanity prospers, it's also happy. To just abandon them all of a sudden doesn't seem to be something Phanes would do. I like to think that The Second Who Came, whoever they are (most likely creators of Celestia) won and took over Phanes' place for governing humanity
Why do I think that the Primordial one died because he was protecting the mortals? The second doesn't have anything to lose while the Primordial one have, and it's easier for the second make use of this weakness, since teyvat is large, it's quite impossible to defend it with an opponent of the same strength or much more stronger. This is going to be a tear jerker....

How about the story before Primordial One? Regarding the Seven Sovereigns of Dragon-lords and how Primordial Ones fought for 40 years against them and won? This one happened around 360 years before the start of the video. It's important considering the Dragonheir/Vishaps in enkanomiya were actually refugees of Seven Sovereigns because their leader are killed. It's also important to mention that the research on the vishap are stopped at some point because some of specimens showing signs of intelligence of 12-years-old human. The reason why is to hide their embarrassment for persecuting one of people that tell the tales of Vishap-people and also for avoiding the possibility of the Dragon Sovereign of Water being rebirth into one of the researched Vishaps specimens knowing the prophecy that Sovereign of Water will be reincarnated as a human.
Thank you very much for the video, it’s very hard for me to understand and connect the information we receive during quests, much less remember all of it, so this is very helpful to me! It must have taken a lot of effort to compile all the details and create this video, so thank you so much for going to the trouble of doing so.
Actually i found some interesting things while exploring Enkanomiya. Out of the 7 Royal Tombs some felt like they described archons. Specially about a bard who was good with instruments but was forced to rule. There are 7 Sunchildren and sunchildren were rulers. Therefore, we can say sunchildren were royalty So, the 7 Royal Tombs describe them? Then there are 7 regions and 7 archons. Since i found a similarity between venti and one of the sunchildren, Are all other tombs also indicating an archon? So were all archons sunchildren?
If anything, the children reflect the archons instead. The archons took rule way before the sunchildren. But my belief is that the sunchildren reflect more on Apollos gifts (since he was the god of many things). And the sunchildren’s interests seem to reflect on Apollo. Also, the sun children were treated as royalty as they we actually just regular children. The reflection on the archons might just be coincidence. Some one made another comment similar to your theory, and I made a comment similar to this.
The concept of "the seven" is inspired by the original dragon lords, which were defeated by the primodial one and his shades, later then "the second who came" defeated the primodial one and brought back the idea of 7 nations under the name of "archon war survivors", the sunchildren were also inspired by the dragon lords
Enkanomiya is just a tragic history hidden deep down the unspeakable world that the traveller is facing. I just came across Sunchildren quest few days ago and it's kinda broke my heart because the one who took care of the kids treat them like her own child because she can't have her own legacy and still taking care of them even when they become shadows. All time this time, before Enkanomiya launch, I always tough Orobashi was bad guy but then I was wrong, is fault by Celestia because Orobashi cant do anything and sacrifice for people and this made me really sad. I feel bad for Orobashi and hope one day we will destroy Celestia. Great video as always.
thank you for this !! i was rushing ekanomiya to be able to finish the event in time but i felt like i wasnt understanding anything nor enjoying it. what a beautiful story
Since the 'we will be reunited' quest i am on the side of the abyss rather than the archons. And my prediction about orobashi was right that he was a good god, else why would so many people worship it.
So after the Sumeru archon quest we can figure that: 1) The “second who came” is likely the second descender of the four descenders. Maybe the primordial one is the Heavenly Principles? Or maybe the primordial one is the original god of Teyvat, and was instead usurped by Celestia and the Heavenly Principles. 2) Enjou claims that Celestia and the gods came from another world, which we learn is true as Nahida explains that the Heavenly Principles, like the traveler, is a Descender and is not originally a part of Teyvat. This essentially means that Teyvat is being colonized by Celestia and that instead of being deities like we traditionally think of gods, they’re instead more like a more advanced race/civilization simply exploiting and presiding over the far less advanced Teyvat.
The real reason why Orobashi let the Raiden kill Orobashi instead of being executed by Celestia maybe because if Orobashi was executed by Celestia, the Watatsumi people would be godless. Even if they are spared, the Divine would still execute them one day like what happened to Sal Vindagnyr (another nation without a god, as its founding people leave the 'land of snow and strife', the realm of Andrius, likely at the start of the Archon War, where Andrius warred against Decarabian, making Decarabian imprison his city to protect his people). So Orobashi sought resolve by 'attacking' the neighboring nation of Narukami and had Raiden kill Orobashi so Raiden could take Watatsumi under her nation which then became Inazuma.

I hope the new quest in 2.6 is voiced
@@glyphgraph8436 idk pal but Enkanomiya ancient names sounds Greek to Me
Just imagine, Enknanomiya may tell us more history then now when the new update is released.
Danm that's really good.

I think it should also be added that during the years of darkness a ship captain tried to find a way back to surface but instead discovered a tribe of people who used a special type of lotus as their source of food. Meaning that Byakuyakoku wasn't the only civilization that fell underground during the great war

@@LatifaFleuranza but i think that part should not be taken literally as its title says, (The parable) It think it tries to explain "the sin" that celestia is against, but i dont know lol could also be that they found the abyss (since its said Enkanomiya is in between three realms) and explains a bit about the abyss people, maybe they get some kind of power from the fruit that only grows there, kind of the apple in Adam and Eve if you get me lol u know, The primoridal one will be happy with its people "The one taboo was to succumb to temptation, But the path to temptation had already been sealed." The same way you cant enter the abyss (a few exceptions here) and could also be linked to the primordial one not allowing Enkanomiya people to rise to the surface again until they builded the towers to contain the realms aka abyss.

4:21 In here there were '7' sunchildren. In Teyvat, there 7 Archons.
The first sunchild loves music and PLAYS THE LYRE - like venti
Another one creates stuff out of clay - something zhongli can do
(Not sure about the rest of them)
The seven archons most likely aren't the sunchildren themselves but they might be based off the sunchildren
More like the other way around because Zhongli is far older than the events of Byakuyakoku. He's 6000+ years of age, how could he be based of the Sunchildren? It should be the other way around.
The info we have here can be divided into four chapters:
• The Primordial War
• The Creation of Enkanomiya and its Affairs
• Orobashi's Reign and;
• Watatsumi and its History
For some reason this area has a special place in my heart
Well lets see their parallels with the Archons:
Orupeusu = Venti: Wise / Poetic, Themes of Death, Honoring Friendship, Songs & The Lyre, Grievances (quite obvious, additional his waiting for someones return, might be Istaroth 😢)
Surepio = Egeria/Focalor: Emphatic, Theme of Fate, Cruel Fate, Desperate Fight, Saving others from Fate (at first I though Rukh, but in essence he was similar to Egeria/Focalor desiring to save them from their impending doom)
Risutaiosu = Zhongli: Objective / Observant, Imitating Someone Craft, Created Many Things, Criticize Others Work, Knowledgeable of Many Things (some are obvious, imitating/learning to someone maybe Guizhong 😢, also he created a body for Azdaha)
Isumenasu = Ei: Stuborn, Theme of Comflicting Views, Boat & Ocean (I am thinking about the Tsaritsa but I remember about Ei and its Flawed View)
Rikoru = Pyro Archon: Proud/ Competitive, Theme of Constant Competition (I think it is the Pyro Archon, because of his competitive spirit)
Ion = Rukhadevata/Nahida: Theme Ignorance, Ignorance is Bliss, Truth Interfered or Hided (I switched it to Rukh, because of some similarities valuing Ignorance)
Piramumon = Cryo Archon: Theme the Outside World, Desire to know the Truth, Probably Desire for others know to (well it was the last, obviously its the Tsaritsa but still innocent & bright 😢)
Dear mihoyo , if you are planning to make more Enkanomiya characters, please let Orobashi reincarnate as a playable character. He deserve that

This channel is a heaven for lore nerd like me. Thank you for your high quality videos!
it ws so depressing to explore...what an amazing region
note: it is not confirmed who won the war between second one and primordial one, enkanomiya ppl just assumed it was primordial one...could be second one.
which makes sense cuz primordial one cared about humanity...why would he ban them from returning?
@@myaava6608 well yeah it could be that and also celestia came from beyond this world so they probably have power from beyond teyvat to fight the primodial one

YOOO THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!! i adore the area and story (other than the overly complicated puzzles) but the story is so spread out between npcs, and hard to follow, especially with my bad memory.
i love this video!! now i don't have to feel frustrated not being able to fully understand what happened anymore!!!
It must have taken a lot of effort to compile all the details and create this video, so thank you so much for going to the trouble of doing so.
enkanomiya is so underrated, feels like everyone forgot about it
Actually i found some interesting things while exploring Enkanomiya.
Out of the 7 Royal Tombs some felt like they described archons. Specially about a bard who was good with instruments but was forced to rule.
There are 7 Sunchildren and sunchildren were rulers.
Therefore, we can say sunchildren were royalty
So, the 7 Royal Tombs describe them?
Then there are 7 regions and 7 archons.
Since i found a similarity between venti and one of the sunchildren,
Are all other tombs also indicating an archon?
Thanks for this summary. To be honest I can't recall the story and the people due to complicated names. Some names are even hard to pronounce.
Story: Sad
Music: Sad
Death of children: Sad
Death of a good old snek: Sad
Dude, Enkanomiya..... T_T
Orobashi is a good one too ㅠㅠ
I found your channel few days ago too and I really love your explanations.
Great work man. I would have never understood the enkanomiya without this.
Thanks for this vid. Im confused what happening in the 5 books when i read it because my english is still not good, but im happy that some of my thoughts is true
This channel is criminally underrated, great video!
I Really really love your content like for real ngl it is the best of all than the other Genshin impact RUclipsrs lores.
It's heartbreaking to see the story of those sunchildren, knowing their whole life is lonely, manipulated, and fated to be short....
So after the Sumeru archon quest we can figure that:
1) The “second who came” is likely the second descender of the four descenders.
Can you do more lore reading with voice? Sometimes i wanna listen to lore as i do something and your tellings are one of the best! Haha
Does this mean decabarian was actually gud too like orobasbi?
Finally. Quality content based on story plot and facts. I look forward to your next video with the same content.

Yeah, Ashikai and chill with asther always making their video unnecessary long.
@@harfi212 I am a professional content writer and i can easily understand the methods she uses to stretch her videos. It isn’t usually a whole unnecessary sentence. But she adds unnecessary phrases and use word patterns to make the sentences longer. It's a clever thing that content writers do to write thousands of words about even the minor topic. Seeing the length of her videos, people just assume that she is so well detailed. But this video has so much more details than Ashikai's Enkanomiya video.
To be honest, when i started playing enkanomiya world quest I did not paid attention to the dialogue because there were too many of them and just spammed next button to skip dialogue throughout the world quest. At this rate, I'll start thinking that Celestia are afraid of the fact that someday these nations are joined forces to defeat them.
Enkanomiya is truly heartbreaking. But what's even more fascinating and 4th wall breaking is when people say it's underrated and almost forgotten and to that I say.. that's exactly it. It's forgotten, abandoned and desolate. A land of sin and tragic events. It's almost as if it was meant to be forgotten.
this channel is really good
If only the Archon quests were as good as Genshin's deep lore
the archon quests are also good though
The archon quest are beautiful in the sense we learn so many things about the past and the nature of the world through their history and the archon that rule the nation.
All of them are good, you just cant see the beauty of it yet, since all of this stories are pieces of puzzle from bigger picture.
Is this "forbidden knowledge" the same as the one that made King Deschret go mad?
it is currently unknown whether the book ‘before sun and moon’ were the same book that king deshert read, but this one is interesting isnt it? like… WHAT IF king deshert was reading the same exact book as orobashi does, but as a mere human, king deshert can’t tolerate the amount of vast knowledge the book had and it makes him going nuts
Mihoyo MUST make an anime adaptation of the game. The lore is so great.
But I can't stop thinking about the last part of the quest, when abyss herald told us that paimon isn't trustworthy. It's really awkward that traveler never asked paimon where's she from... I mean... It's obviously from Celestia but who is she?
just finished the quest..
heart wrenching
Just now understanding the entire story of Enkanomiya , thanks
i like how almost everything in genshin mirrors our world's ancient past
I love your videos. Please keep going!!!
Thanks for the lore, I got it straight now. I'd like the vid to be with voice tho to bring a story telling vibe from someone.
This made me thinking if later in the future, when we fought the Celestia, some archon will going to follow Celestia order and fight us :D
Now i have questions.
1. What kind of food enkanomiya people used to eat when they're still under the sea (how it grew)
2. What currency they use
1. There's mushroom, matsutake, mint in enkanomiya iirc so somehow there's plant there
2. Barter
I think EVERY genshin impact player should watch this video a few times atleast. To know the about the history, the lore, the story of the place. It's important to know about it so when u do visit enkanomiya, instead of just another cool region, ur experience there becomes very emotional, and impactful.
