Whelen UltraVoice Finback Vortex siren test (Alert), Farmers Branch, TX (7/6/22)

As one of my first siren recordings, I'd have to say that this was amazing to experience. I hope to record and put out more siren content in the future!

I see people saying it sounds like a Thunderbolt, but I hear more of a 500SHTT or 10/12 allertor

Yeah especially at a distance. It sounds way more like a 500 tho as a 10/12 Allertor is much raspier

I think it used to have level 5, that was when the custom tones weren’t on the panel and was using a regular thunder-mod sound.

This custom tone is based off thunderbolts

This custom tone set is called ThunderMod as it is meant to resemble a Thunderbolt 1000T. This tone set is exclusive to Farmers Branch's contractor, Goddard Enterprises. There's a few other Goddard systems here and there with these tones, one of them being Addison, TX.
