Pizza Recipe in grams:
- 600 gr Flour( I always use 00 flour but feel free to use bread or all purpose flour)
- 400 gr Warm Water
- 20 gr Fresh Yeast
- 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Salt

Pizza Dough Recipe in cups:
- 4 2/3 cups Flour
- 1 3/4 cups Warm Water
- 1 packet Dry Yeast
- 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Salt

Loved the pizza dough recipe. My mom puts extra virgin olive oil in her dough as well. I thought it was a Sicilian thing. We use homemade olive oil from the old country. People always wonder why her dough comes out so soft. It's the olive oil.

I tried this tonight for my husband and two teenagers, the eldest has been to Italy a number of times skiing and always tells me how awesome the pizzas were there, I have for the last 4/5 years been trying my best with no luck or a thumbs up from him!
I made the dough last night and made the pizzas following your recipe and method of placing them on the hot pan with the semolina - they turned out so amazing, so good that they asked if they could have them again tomorrow! They were a roaring success! 👍👍Thank you Emma!

My husband is Italian and he has very strong accent even though we speak English to each other every single day. 😂 I was thinking you were mix American and Italian. Your English is definitely amazing as I live here in Frascati and not so many people speak English, leave alone to have an American accent. Anyway, I'm your fan and I always tried your recipes. Brava, Emma! I love pizza bianca romana and pizza margherita. Your recipe and method is just perfect for making pizza at home. You know, I think the way you cooked the pizza - using a baking sheet but starting it on the hob is a fantastic idea. Most people don't have a pizza stone, so your method is perfect! Also, the truth is, pizza stones don't really retain quite enough heat to properly cook the undersides of pizzas.
Oh yeah, and I love that you showed people you're Italian!

Emma, tell you something. If you get a pizza pan with holes in the bottom of it, you don't need a pizza stone or wood fired pizza oven. When you have a pizza pan with holes on the bottom, it cooks the crust just like out of a pizza oven. I make pizza two to three times a week in my house and it is perfect every time!

Fabulous! I made these pizza's last week and I can honestly say it's the best pizza recipe we have ever tried 😃. Unfortunately I couldn't cook them quick enough for my hungry hoard, they were eating them quicker than I could cook them! 😃 lol. looks delicious Emma. i waited for 12 hours for your video. when you've posted it on Friday it was about 12 or 1 am in India, can't remember the time( coz I was half asleep while watching this).
Any tips for freezing the dough? I'd like to freeze half, but should I do that after it's been in the fridge for 24h or after the 3h rising process? And, when I take it off from the fridge should I let it rise again? In or out of the fridge? Thanks a lot for the recipe. Best one I've found so far :)

It's so funny u made pizza cuz that was on my menu this weekend, I had already pre made my sauce since I use it for many things & have to have some (busy mom stuff) set aside in the freezer for quick prep. I ❤making pizza, I have tried several dough recipes. My favs r Bobby Flay & Giada De Laurentiis. So super excited to make yours since none that i've tried have ever suggested to rise ur dough overnight. I love Greek pizza ( sliced toms, banana peppers, olives, feta, red onions, parsley & a few pepperonis) so I will b making that & definitely your margarita😋 I soooo enjoy learning from you👍🏼My pizza stone broke so great tips😘😘 Can't wait to eat some😋

I tried this recipe and it was absolutely incredible! The oven wasn't hot enough so we had to use the grill (obviously we put the pizza on the pizza stone, we didn't straight up grill it) which was quite risky but it ended up 10 times better than the one we tried in the oven. Thank you for this recipe.
Just curious, what did you do with the remaining dough? Did you freeze it, if so at what stage in the recipe?

wow looks good and I might try this at home at work when we want a pizza we use hamburger bun dough but it has a lot of ingredients like cake flour powder milk shortening and eggs and butter but yours is a lot easier but id probably use dry active yeast instead since that's what I can get from work lol
