Sounds like whoever owned it before you should’ve kept there fingers out of it. This was the best tuning video I’ve seen. Just dialed my xcursion 6 and it’s shooting Bullet holes and driving tacks. Thanks Sean!
Good video. You are supposed to adjust your draw stops before tuning the bow and re-adjust them after every change you make to the cables. It worked for you but I had a hard time getting mine to tune until I was told to adjust the stops after every adjustment, then it tuned easily. The Xcentric 7 is an awesome bow for sure!

I actually responded to comment years ago, but ALL of my replies were deleted when changing the main email on my account, ugh. Anyway, I am going back through and re-replying to all old comments so they stop popping up in the unanswered post column of my RUclips studio. As you can see, I included some links to my website and social media links in case you are interested in checking any of it out. Thanks for your patience with this process. God bless you.
I have a 2019 perfection and I replaced the strings and cables. All are the correct length. ATA is 1/8" long as well as brace. The draw weight is spot on but the timing holes are way out of spec. XS cam top hole is 1 1/16 and bottom is 1 3/8. Should be 1 3/16 top and 1 1/4 bottom. How would I fix this?
I would start by adding or removing some twist to the cables as needed. If you are not sure if you need to add or remove, start by adding a full twist to one and see how that impacts the reference holes. Using this approach, you will see which way you need to go (add or remove twist) and then you can walk it into where it needs to be by continuing to add or remove small amounts of twist until you get there.
Regarding your paper tuning. Is the reason you adjusted the control and bus cables instead of thinking it was a arrow rest issue because you already measured the rest to see if it was the same in front and back? Also because you did the visual inspection using your string and cut off arrow method?
I bought one a month ago. Love it. The new strings have serving where it runs thru ATR. The also have a direct bolt on roller guard for $60 if you want to change in future . No press required to replace it.
I have a mako x I bought with a 29 dl I am a 28.5 I had the mods switched I don't think they moved the limb stops the dl still feels the same as 29 dl could that be possible ? I have looked everywhere for videos of where the limb stops should be or how to measure and from what but I have not found anything
Yeah the limb stops will need to be moved, but I do not have one of those bows anymore to look at to reference to tell you. However, it is probably one marking on the cam from where it's at now.

@@brianmckenzie2981 Measure it with a ruler. Pick a spot on the upper riser, measure to the string, and do the same from the same spot on the bottom of the riser and measure to the string. It should be the same distance for top and bottom.
Good day Sir, love your videos and the work you put into them! I'm looking to get into bow hunting this coming up year, wondering if you have any bow suggestions for me. I'm planning on saving around $750-1000 for everything in. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks:)

Great choice! I have the Xcentric 7 and just got a bow press. This video is great for someone learning to tune a Xpedition Hybrid cam. Thank you Sean.

Yes, everything was squared up and on.
I’m looking at buying an Xcentric Pro 7, not sure if you still own yours, but did you like the bow? Any problems or quirks I should be aware of?
Loved it. Just make sure you do a good job taking care of the cables.

Hey Sean won’t adding twist to cable to fix low tar take the bow out of timing? Thanks!
Get your tiller on first, then adjust for timing.
How do you make sure tiller is correct?
