WARNING Hey sorry everyone made a pretty big mistake in the video that I just realised 😂. Was meant to say more females than males, at 0:50. Don’t know how I slipped up. Appreciate everyone pointing it out.
I'm not super experienced with live plants however I have bamboo and some crested Java fern doing great..I recommend driftwood roots for hiding in addition to plants :)
Ooh I haven’t seen endler’s like yours! I got a group of endler females earlier in the summer and they’ve had a ton of fry but even the biggest ones don’t have color! They’re just grey with black tales. It’s super weird. At first I though I must have been given regular guppy females but they’re even more plain than regular guppies 🤔 I agree about scrutinizing the tanks at the store before you buy. It’s really hard to resist but don’t buy anything from a tank with dead or sick fish, even when the ones you want look fine. One thing you reeeeeeeally have to look closely to spot is flashing. I saw some at the store today flashing and itching on decor. It’s really subtle but it’s probably lice or flukes and you don’t want that coming home on your new fish!
I have a few questions, so if you don't mind answering them, that would be great. Can I keep a guppy(a guppy full red, specifically) in a bowl aquarium(5 litters) and do they need a filter to survive? How many times a day do you feed your guppies and how often do you clean your aquarium, also how do you do it exactly?
You can always google that, there are lots of sites on fish care. Also, I dont recommend putting fish in bowl, they can survive without a filter if there are live plants I think or in a nano aquarium.
Please do more research before ever considering fish NO fish can live in a bowl. The ideal size for guppies is 5-10 gallons depending on the amount with a heater and thermometer You'll need a gravel vac and to learn how to cycle your aquarium NEVER buy fish without researching I lost two fish and have a betta healing from finrot because I never cycled my tanks
So I never quarantined my fishes in my community tank (got the fishes over 2 months now); is it okay to put medicine in my tank just as a precaution method?
Thanks sir for the information .just bought it ...really love it ...before this I just concerned to have arowana or toman.( Snakehead species) . I make present for my daughter but I aware that it's so lovely.
I have one guppy and a see through goldfish (can’t find the name of that fish), but they’ve been best friends ever since I got them, as most of my other fish were stand-off and didn’t really like the guppy. My goldfish was always there to protect him and all of my other fish have passed. My question is, since it’s just them in a 10 gallon tank, would I be able to get two more guppies or do you think that’s bringing trouble or stress on these two?
One of my Guppies is very aggressive.. it chases and bites its Fellow Guppy fish and Platy Fish.. What Should I do.. I have only these three fishes in my 18 Litre Pond.. pls help me..
I got 4 male guppies to start my new 12 gallon tank. They were ordered online and have had them for 2 weeks now, all seemed fine. The largest one has a slight black/grey colour on the end of his tail since we got him but I thought it was going away. Just now I noticed a small hole in the middle of his tail. The other fish all look ok but I don't have a quarantine tank or any medication. Obviously I can't go to a pet shop, what do I do? worried about tail/fin rot :/
this is a year late, so it may not be helpful, but it is always a good idea to keep a quarantine tank handy in case of instances like this. it is possible his fin could have been injured on a decoration, it is also possible it could have been fin rot. make sure the plants in your tank are soft. often times you can contact your local pet store for advice as well!
I bought some new guppies for my aquarium and because I just started the hobby 2 months ago I don't have a quarantine tank yet and since I added the new guppies into the tank 4 of my guppies have died :(
I just got a guppy, he’s been swimming against the glass like he’s scared. Idk what to do about him swimming crazy. I feel like he’s going to kill himself from doing this.

Its okay dear. Your so cute by the way so its okay 😅🥰
So I need more females than .mine 9.male and 1 female...I will fix it up.by tomorrow
Was wondering about the ratio statement. Rewatched video twice to make sure I heard that right. So glad you straightened that out. 😊👍
This video helped me purchase healthy fish from my local pet store. Thanks!!

So is it keep more males than females, or more females than males? You probably misspoke on your first tip.
Yeh was just abt to say that #editit
More females
More females
Sorry guys, pretty bad on my part
KeepingFishSimple no worries 👍🏻
Thank you so much 🙏😊
Thanks great Video i like it
I currently have 11 guppies +7 neon tetras and 2 corydoras in a 10 gallon tank. I am doing 20-30% water change every other day. Is that sufficient?
Hmm.. seems okay to me. As long as the ammonia, nitrite and nitrates are low its okay :)

So do I not add a lot of hides if I don't want a ton of babies?

What do you know about musquito fish?
Was just wondering if you sell your endlers at all? You have some that I haven't seen in any pet stores in Seattle.
In Melbourne, I finds it so hard to keep Guppies, is it because of the water being very soft? Any tips please?
One of my Guppies is very aggressive.. it chases and bites its Fellow Guppy fish and Platy Fish..
What Should I do..
I have only these three fishes in my 18 Litre Pond.. pls help me..

@@user-ry9pd3hg7u aha thank you! the fish didn't have fin rot and he only passed away recently after living for about a year :)
My female guppies cut male fins any suggestions for this?

You talk a lot about breeding, but how do you keep control of the guppy population without separating the males and females?
Can i used different guppies in 1 aquarium?
Yes remember Ratio 1.male to 3 females
Can i keep 5 zebra danios in a 7 gallon tank ?
What if I have just males?
What if u don’t want constant breeding?
Might need to edit 49 seconds in! #shoolboyerror
(pre watch videos before posting!)
you seem to keep more endlers? they aren't as vicious towards their fry
Can you keep guppies with angel fish?
I just got a guppy, he’s been swimming against the glass like he’s scared. Idk what to do about him swimming crazy. I feel like he’s going to kill himself from doing this.
Do you think guppies can be kept with neon tetra?
Yes 😇
Why my guppy dead after an hour in the pond?
Can you keep guppies in a 5gallon
Yes
Can you feed fish bread?
You said before in the video to keep more males than females. 51 seconds into the video.
This is better to heat
I live in Australia but barely find exotic guppys
ExoTic43 i cant even find female ones
24 and 26 temp sound very cold tho
That’s Celsius, not Fahrenheit. 24-26 isn’t very cold. That’s 75-78F
If all female is it ok?
I'd assume so
They just aren't as colorful so they're less wanted
Put a tiger barb in with your guppies to cull the weakest out of the gene pool. I barb for every 200 or 300 adult guppies.
that's messed up.
Yea no that's fucked up
They're still pets
@@drunkkhajit5035 I breed fish to feed my fish.
was gonna say MORE FEMALES but you already put that
No wonder why my guppies are dying 😆
Water
Guppy: frys are nice lil snack
Why do you keep saying to keep more males than females. Its keep more females than males.
Ratio 1 Male to =3 Female Guppys
Please fix your mic
Didn't know guppies were so rapey...
