squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak. Ah yes the M7s
It’s definitely endearing lol
Always a fun ride. Place is so great to railfan/people watch.
East Side Access is coming along real well, Harold Interlocking looks a lot “nicer”
I think it looks great! Lol I can’t wait for ESA!
Pretty or not, seeing places from the tracks is always interesting. I gotta say, though, as I watched a video about the Tokyo Metro before this one, it was jarring to go from a smooth, well-maintained, modern system to New York's older infrastructure. Seriously, the train sounds like a squeaky rattle trap! Still, I'm glad it's there, but it's a long way from the standards of Europe, Asia, the Middle East, or even Latin America.
Yeah it sure is lol. Nothing in America can touch the Tokyo commuter lines/metro, but yes, I’m glad the LIRR at least exists lol
Every time I see a vid about New York City, I am appalled at the utter lack of maintenance. That Sutphin Boulevard station on the 8th Avenue Line 'E' Train was recently built in the 80s or 90s and already it looks gringey and grimey
East side access near harold interlocking is the problem where nicer third rail operates whin 3 sectors of jamaica track 8 arrival from nyp in m7 computer 2 minutes approximately.
I rode this back in 2018 in the sunset, ultimately ending up at JFK. I thought it was very enjoyable
Oh the dreaded M7 squeak. I wonder if its a known issue for the trainset or just specific to certain cars? I've heard it in the past and have moved cars to get away from it.
Yeah I’m not sure but it’s very squeaky lol
Mind the gap!
As a farm boy, I would be looking for whatever was making that squawk and grease it... LOL!!!
It was very squeaky!
@@TheFourFoot That's the M7s for you. Some of the trucks squeak really bad. It's an issue on the MNR M7As as well.
FIRST
ONLY
ALWAY'S.
Painful to watch as you're on what appears to be a straight track, in an EMU, but poking along at maybe 45 mph. You'd be arriving sooner if you got on a diesel Caltrain Baby Bullet.
That squeaking is horrible.
Yes lol
