This was originally two really short songs, but I think re-arrangement was a great idea, because neither really reached these heights before. You can hear it because the 3rd chorus is in a different key, F major, than the verses/choruses before the bridge (which are in C major). The bass is really the highlight in that whole first half of the song, and it’s really pleasing to follow it, especially the funky slap stuff in the choruses and bridge. The climax is a ton of fun, too, it’s really simple but it hits hard and does a nice shift to relative minors.
