Howdy lad, that tutorial is the best i could find after delfy's one, playing on ryzen 5 4500u with igpu vega 6, had to download medium config, getting 70 fps and drops to 40, but some youtubers made a video about benchmarking my laptop in tf2, they are getting more then 100 fps in high settings in 1080p, still having a funny question, WHAT THE HECK??? my fps is bottlenecking and i get stutters in my frames makes playing very difficult and have tried a bunch of configs to help and am running a 1650 graphics card and a ryzen 5 4000 series cpu cant understand why my fps is struggling so much if you can help thatd be amazing cheers
it could be bloat running in the background i had similar issues before debloating / despooking my OS i made a video recently on how to do it if it doesnt help then im not sure
Are you running the game on low? 'cause that could be what creates the bottleneck, as TF2 is a CPU relying game. If you max out the graphics, it'll force the game to use the GPU more, lessening the bottleneck. TF2 configs doesn't work the same for everyone, and it always is about experimenting and trying different settings.
Try increasing graphics to max. TF2 is a CPU relying game, and it uses it a lot if you're in min graphics, creating a bottleneck. If you max out the Graphics, it'll force the game to use the GPU, which will get you more FPS.

That's usually caused by poor optimization. I believe TF2 mainly utilizes your CPU and only one core on your CPU. Going into Steam, then going into your properties for TF2, and adding -novid -high -USEALLAVAILABLECORE for "LAUNCH OPTIONS" may help.

In my opinion it is enough, depending on your preset and your pc tech specs
