    He is easilly in my top 2 list of the best violin composers. High quality music for my ears.

    Leclair is my one of the favourites composers. Even though I can hear that baroque sound in his music, he has very special, idk how to say, handwriting, very peculiar style, which distinguishes him from other baroque composers

    Leila Schayegh b. 1975 .. finished in 1999 her studies in modern violin with Raphaël Oleg at the Basel Music Academy .. joined the class of Chiara Banchini at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, where she obtained in 2005 a diploma Summa cum laude.
    In collaboration with Jörg Halubek recorded BWV 1014-1019
    Her collaboration with director and harpsichordist Václav Luks led to the recordings of Benda’s violin sonatas and Mysliveček’s violin concertos in 2018.
    She has been playing since 2008 with Gli Angeli Genève, in particular for the almost complete series of J.S. Bach's cantatas.
    Since 2010 Leila Schayegh is Professor of Baroque violin at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, as successor of Chiara Banchini.

      Depending on the whens and whys, passivity isn't necessarily negative in our speedy and aggressive society. Listening to Leclair's music makes me think of a sunny, hot and lazy afternoon in a garden.

      There was a dark phase he uploaded more contemporary music such as Beethoven or even Chopin. But a lot of people protested against it successfully.

      There are channels that give detailed explanations of the composer or work, others don't even mention the title or performers. Here we find an elegantly designed channel, with adequate and reliable details. If I want to know a little more, I look for the data that is available in many cases myself.
