I can't even begin to thank you all enough for sharing these videos. No, I can't perform all the moves. However, I continue to practice and get better - and I relish the challenge! Thank you for sharing your beautiful healing work with the virtual world.
What a great energy. I can feel it! Beautiful ❤ I hope to practice this way one day. For now I can't keep myself and I'm laughing on the OM part. I just explode, can't handle it. 😁
This really is a great led class. If I have the time for a longer practice I always come back to this one.. Would love to be able to practice with John live one day. Thanks!
So inspiring. Thanks for sharing- John and team. The best Led class of second serie I've ever seen. Pranayam, alignment, adjustment included in led class ; rare but excellent.
An incredible class, I am yet miles away of perfection of many poses, I set up however my target to practice with it during the coming weekends - might be 108 times need to get into those poses correctly. I am so grateful for sharing this class on RUclips.
amazingly well led class. well assisted and well performed too by the students. im a teacher, and i was just watching enjoying the energy and detailed understanding.
I'm still a beginner in ashtanga, but I felt that the warm up at the beginning of practice felt so natural and so good :))) I think I'm gonna do that more often :)
I have been doing second up to Gomukasana, then going to Primary Pashchimattanasana adding Firelog instead of Janusirasana B and flowing throw to adding drop backs in Urdhva Dhanurasana and then rest of finishing as I felt second was lacking something that I wasn’t getting. I feel John Scott has added a nice few interjections in second that really compliment the specific asanas afterwards as well as before. The firelog pose, Hanumanasana, and Samakonasana and handstand drop backs forming a good start for tic tocks and a few vibes from 4th series. It’s obv right for me at the moment in my energy angle. Thanks for the session, I will be enjoying these added sweets quite a few times to find more bricks in my stairs of yoga practice.
Always checking in to keep up my practice. Walking around Philadelphia filming videos for my new channel and needing all the flow I can get. Shanti, Shanti, Shanti. :o)🧡
I'd very much like to know the true meaning.. The spiritual meaning behind each of these poses ... Why. What do we receive .. in return of what exactly we do this within this fabric of our reality.... What is the other end of this journey this spiritual dance...does it have some geometric techology that can explain a algorithm to our conscious mind... Or is just for show off platform on social media which it clearly & sadly has become...I too practice ashtanga but I don't see any spiritual secred value going into learn with the that atmosphere...
Om Purna-mada Purna-midam (Thou art every One and ever whole) Purnaat Purnam-udach-yate (From you this perfect world was born) Purna sayah Purna madaya (Yet should all this world disappear from view) Purnamevah Va-shish-yate (Still you would always be the same.)
This is the start, and I couldn't find a name for it. Then, the Opening Chant. At the end, I hear the Closing Chant (Mangala Mantra) and then something else I don't recognize. I would also love to know what that is... Anyone?
Well I sure didn't know about the way that the teachers have body contact with the students. I do yoga since 5 years at home. If I'd have been going to a live yoga class without seeing this, I would have slapped the yoga teacher like crazy.
I wanted to practice along as led intermediate, but this is not traditional ashtanga led intermediate. It would be helpful if you could change the title to something like "John Scott's custom interpretation of intermediate series"
“a”’s in Sanskrit are pronounced like “uhh” just fyi, it’s not shat it’s closer to “shut” otherwise, well it sounds like you’re saying shat mate, and yoga is not shat
Charlotte Quinney Yup. The Yoga program I join was sponsored by a gym and the instructor certainly did not get on people like that. I guess every place has it's own vibe.
It's all meant to get you deeper, I assure you when I adjust or am being adjusted by my teacher it is nothing but meant to purely get deeper into the pose. This is the nature of the ashtanga adjustments.
The instructor is going too far with the girl in the middle .Get you hands off my bum you..........This video should be banned or reported to department as an offensssive example of ......
Is this a scam?Don't believe the "total viewed" numbers for this video. This video keeps showing up on my daily "watched" history but I have NEVER watched this or any video from Purple Valley yoga. Who has time for 2 hours of yoga? Not me!
This spam video keeps showing up in my daily "watched" history eventhough I have NEVER watch one of these Purple valley videos. I will post complaints for each day it shows up as a watched video until they stop spamming my account. Don't believe the number of views listed.

They count the total views... including the 5 seconds of paid advertisements of this as an add before other videos. Basically any account can pay youtube to have a ton of views on any video...

@Lime House Yoga Studio thanks so much
I'm so happy to see led intermediate :)
Awesome, hardly see a Led Intermediate online thank you
Can someone tell me what this is please? I’ve been practicing Ashtanga over a decade and I’ve never encountered this. It’s beautiful.
Namaste🙏 Can anyone tell me the mantra behind sukhinibhavantu in Sanskristian?
I like these yoga the students are doing.
Mr John, I like the tone of purnamada
Nice insight on that!
Namaste! 🙏🏻

Do your practice and all is coming
Come to Uttarakhand, India
I am a beginner to this series. Do you have instruction to get into some of the forward positions
This is wonderful session . I have a question . Since how long these students are practicing ashtang yoga ? Thanks
that's irrelevant, everyone is on a different journey
What Is the opening mantra here? Is It different from the traditional one
Is the opening mantra for the secondary series different than the first?
The closing is the same I ve noticed.
Thank you🙏
Absolute session and beauty
Thank you for inspiration to move forwards with hip opening in the sequence , namaste3*
What they say in the beggining while breathing.????
it's called focus 12 a breathing exercise that Jhon Sott invented. Poraka and Rechaka just means inhale and exhale in sanskrit
31:41 I find his quite instructions here super relaxing, haha.
what is the opening mantra?
Very nice session.Thank you.
Name of the mantra, or someone can share please, thanks, namaste

Two hours that is challenging, o could do thirty minutes maximum. Not that much.
Love it!
Темп удивительный и метафоры красивые очень и темп хороший самый крутой

He does it to more than one person. A lot of these guys are pervs.

11:19 I love how Yogis use Yoga as an excuse to get away with stuff life that ;)
12:14 Or that :)
CH7 yeah it does seem a bit much doesn't it.
Charlotte Quinney Yup. The Yoga program I join was sponsored by a gym and the instructor certainly did not get on people like that. I guess every place has it's own vibe.
CH7 I'd love it if John Scott came and sat on me during any sequence!
