I do believe that thermal treatments cannot fully replace surgical lifting, which not only lifts and trims the skin, but also tightens the foundational facial muscle, as well repositioning. People who are not yet old enough for a surgical facelift would be experiencing facial volume loss, which is not treated by a facelift alone, or by this procedure you're asking about. Overheating, and overexposure are under the control of the doctor, or practitioner performing the treatment, so their expertise and judgment are key for a safe, and effective procedure, or if complications or undesirable results occur.

Dear Dr. Prasad, can eye rubbing or impacts to the face near the lower eyelids cause lower eyelid fat prolapse? I have lower eyelid fat prolapse on my right side only. I’ve had it since I was 14, but I don’t remember the exact moment when it developed. The amount of fat prolapsed is very little. In most lighting conditions, it just looks like a more pronounced dark circle compared to my left-normal-looking-lower eyelid. Can a really mild case of lower eyelid prolapse be treated with conventional surgery, or could it be mitigated by lasers or other treatments?
Hi @martin2447, Aggressive eye rubbing isn't good for the eyelid skin, as it is the thinnest skin in the body at only 0.5mm thick, so it is delicate. However, it's not likely it caused fat prolapse. Lasers or others skin treatments cannot treat fat prolapse, but they can treat dark circles. What you are seeing needs to be properly diagnosed with an examination. Hi @anum3702, Buccal fat volume remains generally consistent with weight loss, and weight gain, but it does naturally diminish gradually due to facial aging. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Sir is it okay to use hair fibres daily after 1 year of hair transplant. Will it cause any issues?
