it came out around the time my grandad started getting very ill with dementia. I always weirdly think of it as a dialogue between my grandparents at the time and it is agonising. they are no longer with us but they are together.
it's the "don't let go" part that always gets me.
I can't listen to about you without that saxophone outro anymore. It elevates the song to the heavenly level of serene

Yeah, Polly Money might as well join of the band as a full member. She had been really great touring with the 1975. Saw them live in Prague, her version of "Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America" was amazing.

She really have a good voice. I watched the 1975 show in Frankfurt, while the band was busy on production, she did an intermission song playing with her guitar and she nailed it. Great voice.

I remember when this album came out last year, I was on holiday in L.A when the album dropped. It was my first ever time in America and this song came on and I remember the magical feeling of hearing this song for the very first time.. driving around L.A in the sun with this song blasting in my ears ❤️ I’m so so glad this song has become a big hit!

They play in NYC and in NY a lot. Multiple times nearly every year for about a decade now.

LOVE THE 1975…Their music is so eclectic and fresh. Actually, they’re the only band whose album I can listen to in its entirety and repeat multiple times a day. Every song is stellar. They are so relevant in today’s world. Most artists today have one or two songs on an album and the rest of the songs irritate me, it’s like listening to a 40-minute song. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us in the future. So blessed to have found this amazing band.
