I seriously cannot explain how much the 1975 means to me. They never fail to make me want to drive through a tunnel with the windows down. one of the many things i truly love about this song is how matty healy incorporated the word "surrender" instead of the excessively used and cliche "falling in love". it felt so authentic in a manner that one would risk to knock down their fortresses for that person and it's simply enchanting.

I seriously cannot explain how much the 1975 means to me. They never fail to make me want to drive through a tunnel with the windows down. They make me want to stop caring and just listen and imagine the future, the past , and the present at the same time. It’s more than just liking their songs. one of the many things i truly love about this song is how matty healy incorporated the word "surrender" instead of the excessively used and cliche "falling in love". it felt so authentic in a manner that one would risk to knock down their fortresses for that person and it's simply enchanting.

My boyfriend and I used to call each other "loaf". On the day of our 3rd anniversary, he passed away.

there's something special in this song I can't explain, of why I always keep on playing this on repeat, every single day, which made me obsessed with it. This feels like longing to that certain song from your childhood and you feel nostalgic all of a sudden when the truth is, you've never played this before. And whenever I played this, my mind automatically think of that certain place I've been longing, when I already know that, that 'certain place' isn't existing and I've never been there before. Listening to this, makes me feel homesick to a place I've never been before, and never existed.
