      Hey thanks. Yeah I didn't like to use the Frankenstein Method when I first started out and I used this. Now it's nice to have options on how you will approach an install. I'm going to a video on the Frankenstein method soon.

    An important part that I don't see instructional videos addressing is where and how does that rolled up shrunk piece go for that 1-2 minutes while you're prepping the inside glass one last time? How do you secure it from unraveling, etc? Thanks!

    • @FadeToBlackLLC
      @FadeToBlackLLC  4 года назад

      Well my videos are more for entertainment.. But I usually have the inside window prepped and ready to go and the roll doesn't leave my hand. Right to the glass. Or just lay it down and put your towel on it.. Also spray the film so it sticks to itself. 👍🏾

    Been tinting for a year and a half any tips on how to reverse roll properly cause sometimes I get like creases on the film any tips

    • @FadeToBlackLLC
      @FadeToBlackLLC  Год назад

      Take your time. That's one of the most important steps is unrolling. Go as slow as you need not to mess up the film at the last step. Try to unroll the film on the glass so it's done when the roll is complete.
      I'll get more videos up and I want to have some Training coming in the next year or so.

    I see that you are using the non-adhesive side of the tint on the glass. I always thought you would use the side where you peel off the liner to put on the glass. Can you explain? Thanks.

    • @FadeToBlackLLC
      @FadeToBlackLLC  2 года назад

      There is a Tint side and liner side. Watch how the film is rolled into the liner and then unrolled with the adhesive touching the glass. Get a piece of scrap film and practice and it will become more clear 👍🏾

    If you use the drier sheet method to heat shrink the backglass do you just reverse roll it right after that or do you need to remove the tint from the backglass clean the backglass then reapply the tint to the back glass then reverse roll?

    • @FadeToBlackLLC
      @FadeToBlackLLC  2 года назад

      I think the steps don't really matter all that much and I'm not fully sure of what you mean?
      I have a Playlist of Back Window Shrinking. I'd look at those. I do the same thing all the time pretty much but little steps don't effect the overall install.
      I hope that helps?

  • @xxxdzv
    @xxxdzv 5 лет назад +1

    Good job mate.How many specs of dust would you get in a back piece of glass like that?(if any)

    • @FadeToBlackLLC
      @FadeToBlackLLC  5 лет назад +1

      Well you'll always get some small specs but there was no MAJOR contamination and I thought it turned out really nice. You be surprised how many particles are flying around the air when you can't see them. Shine a light inside the back of a car when your cleaning...oh there's particles flying around. So you can only do as best as you can. I try to move quick when I wet the film on the back window.

    • @FadeToBlackLLC
      @FadeToBlackLLC  4 года назад

      I only use enough slip to get it into position...don't go crazy with it. Then use a hard card to push as much water out as you can then test it to see if it moves. Yeah that can mess your whole install up quickly
