I was thinking of using stock 351 crank/rods, 302 pistons, 210cc aluminum heads, linkable lifters, still gotta figure a good cam for fox body with t-5 and 3.73 rear gears. Stock '87-'95 Mustang 5.0 were not 9.5 compression. Thet were 9.0. The E7TE heads are usually listed around 64cc, not 60 like those. So the compression will be bumped up.
    Ther are a lot of companies that make aluminum SBF heads; Ford Racing, Dart, Brodix, ProMaxx, Flotek, ProComp [Speedmaster], Blueprint, Bill Mitchell & Summit all have their own.

    Googled Liberty heads. Made in Taiwan. Better off porting and upgrading you cast iron ones. I am sure the valves, springs, valve guides will be trouble down the road. Maybe ok for a daily driver and not a lot of stress or high rpm's.

    • @hayden6056
      @hayden6056 11 месяцев назад +5

      Are you though? Haven't used them but as someone that works in a machine shop I'm so much happier when something is made in Taiwan than PRC.
      Look at KC tools , sp tools and kabo etc.
      Theirs nothing wrong with Taiwanese stuff in my opinion I raced world championship bmx on a Taiwanese made frame.
      I'm now fat AF middle aged and jump a Taiwanese made bike and still haven't bent it. Taiwan vs PRC quality is a big difference.
      I've had to surface so many Chinese intake manifolds and have had porosity in casting and coolant in the runner within a couple years more times than I can talk about.
      I don't mind doing Chinese heads but send me them bare and I'll assemble them with good springs and valves.

Valve seat throats were too big at 94% leaving no extra material for re-cutting the valve seats. Guides were too large making the valve fit loose. Guys, dont be stupid like me.
