As for the gap at the top of the cockpit in robot mode, there is some plastic flash there I was able to trim away and close the gap. Super excited to have this guy! Price difference made it no contest for me.
Got Screamer & T.C. . Had to use a very fine sanding paper to the pegs on the weapons & the wing 'cover / fillers' , to take off all the paint on the pegs. Why ? To make them pop in/out with much less stress on the pegs , as I could not remove the wing covers without using a tool , and considering that this toy's plastic has a paint coat almost everywhere -- using a tool on it came very close to scratching the paint . As for the pegs on the weapons , they were difficult to peg in all the way, and made a "funny noise" (the kind you don't want to hear) , when I messed around rotating the weapons while they were pegged to the toy . I also heard that the paint got scratches when others transformed theirs , so ... not gonna do that . Here's hoping the paint will hold together and not start flaking , as there's no paint sealant used here .
I’m liking these versions of the seekers. The 52 are great also but in my opinion. They’re too small. But if they make the rain makers in the 52 size I would get those. Coneheads will be these molds.
Good review Mike I enjoyed it. QC issues Seem to be more prevalent in transformers today. my meteor is in jet mode.He is going to stay that way forever. Mike waiting for your Tesla 2.0 review.
Great Review He fits in PERFECTLY with Soundwave and Megatron. The 53s are not only just too small, under tall, but they are wonky with their proportions, not sure I would agree with "Toon accurate. I'll have to check mine to see if I have that same QC issue. Thanks again. Maketoys was an Excellent choice, but DEFORMATION for the WIN!
@@Newjourney14 You like it you win The 53s are way too small, Maketoys were good, but for me DS is the way to go, from size, just right, to proportions to aesthetics. It checks all the boxes I am looking for.. Thanks for the reply
Im all advise DS but something about TC & SW send Bland to me i can’t put my finger on it … they all look beautiful separately… but together they don’t pop to me … idk
Aside from a few minor paint blemishes this with the first issue I have had. This does look like what I think a seeker should look like but Takara looks good also
Deformation Space destroys the Takara/Takara KO in looks and scale. Contrary to what a certain scale chart (and the old 2006 Classics toyline) want you to believe, the Seekers & Soundwave aren't THAT much shorter than Megatron. 😆😆😆😆😆 On the other hand, those Takara KOs *are* just a bit cheaper than even the Deformation Space squad. It's a tough call, especially since there's still nothing on a reissue of the BB7 MP11 KO mold for Thundercracker and Skywarp (Starscream's been out and may be sold out by now). Speaking of which, Maketoys really can't compete here, those were made for duking it out with MP11/MP03 and smoking it. Deformation Space & MP52/MP52 KO totally incinerate Maketoys. 😏😏😏
Jeeazlou you're right,... but I can't have Screamer & his brothers taller than Soundwave; and next2 "My💞Megs" uhhuh...💬he's😻 myMannnn!!! "MegaEmpress in my dreams💋"

Testor's flat black perfectly matches the black on this one, use it to correct the paint scratch at the double jointed elbow.
Thanks for the tip
Good review! My Thundercracker had the exact same issue with the air intake, which I'm getting a replacement for.
Good to see there is service after the sale
@@tydiriumhanger1320 even better, they're replacing the whole bot for me.
Mike likes it tiiiiiiight ! Umm ok lol great review on this figure my only gripe is no chrome around the chest area but otherwise it's beautiful
Yes I would have liked more of a gloss there. I do like it tight and do not mind the squeak!

Hoping they will do a repaint in toy color. Deeper purple and silver chest. Arghhhhh should I get this now or wait/hope for a repaint
Very cool. I didn't know all the seekers had null ray guns.
Are they going to make thrust ramjet dirge ?????
I bet they do seems to make sense

Now I'm seriously considering this one...
He looks awesome and such an awesome color scheme
Would it be weird to mix and match? I was thinking DS01 for Starscream, MP52 KO for TC, and MakeToys for Skywarp.
I would display them on risers so you do not see the size difference and looks more dynamic anyway
i have my full set of dfs seekers...couldnt be happier🙃

Tesla might just be a VS with XTB
Looks amazing! am sorry but Takara got the purple wrong! Still an awesome set though! The EG-01 that is.💖
I may get that Eagle and the standard KO not sure yet while they are still so cheap
i had the same issue with the cover
Hope they have a bunch to ship out for replacement

DS is just too big. Even compared to the ones you mentioned.
Maketoys was good for a while now there is new competition and I bet they do not reissue their Skywarp and Thundercracker

I would contact ShowZstore and get a replacement. 🤷🏻♂️
I sure will they will get ti taken care of quickly
EMgo? Time for compariSON!!
It was Pixel Dan but I can see the similarities to Emgos.
Good 1
Thanks
My definitive seekers until the inevitable Fanstoys vs X-transbots.
NO NO NO Fanstoys seekers will make Takara look cheap LOL
Im all advise DS but something about TC & SW send Bland to me i can’t put my finger on it … they all look beautiful separately… but together they don’t pop to me … idk
It is all that flat paint they need a bit of a gloss finish to parts of them
Sorry you had an issue. Mine was perfect
Sure it was just a mistake and the parts look so similar
@@tydiriumhanger1320 I could definitely see that happening. I hope they make sunstorm and acidstorm. Maybe give us some cone heads.
I don't think its toon-accurate and the QC issues need to be addressed.

You need glasses
blue Fantoys Soundwave looks lifeless. I think I perfer the official, and concerning Skywarp. He looks amazing shame the Purple ain't dark enough.
Bleh** not blue...

Just ordered mine. He will never be transformed.
Zeta EX series is better and cheaper
That is my Conehead set from Toyworld good figures
You copied Pixel Dan lol 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
You nailed it!!!
