Seto Kaiba and Bandit Keith laugh in this guys face
Pfft. Just watch some MtG streams, those guys cheat like it’s going out of style. On camera no fucking less
When you skip school because you think education is for losers this guy's life story
He had bad role models... Atem had power to draw any card he wanted. Yusei topdecked 5 tuners in deck that consisted mostly of Traps. Yuma created new card, despite already having different one in his hand. Yuya created his own Summoning Method when he was about to lose and Yusaku adds random Extra Deck Monster during his duel.
Blame anime.
Crimson Hero 😂👍
Lol
Jaden sounds like the only protagonist who played fair xD
@@iSearchRUclips I forgot about Jaden. Just when he was about to lose, that mf fused his soul with strangely hot demonic spirit that was his girlfriend in past life.

This why you shuffle your opponents deck “every time “ they look at it. !!! No matter what they do.
as far as I'm aware you aren't allowed to shuffle you're opponent's deck, only cut.
Chowda, this is from Konami’s official rule book on shuffling.
Shuffling
A player’s Deck must be randomized by using an accepted shuffling method (riffle, pile, Hindu, etc.) and then cut. This must be done at the start of every game, and whenever a game mechanic requires the player to shuffle their Deck.
Each player must thoroughly randomize (shuffle) their Deck where the opponent can see.
• A player cannot check or order the cards when shuffling
• A player cannot pre-sort their Deck (sorting Monsters/Spell/Trap, etc) without thoroughly shuffling
the Deck afterwards.
After the Deck is thoroughly randomized, it must be presented to the opponent. The opponent must randomize (shuffle) the Deck further and then return it to the original owner.
The owner may then “cut” their Deck. If they do, they must present it to the opponent who must “cut” the Deck again and then present it back to the original owner. No additional randomization may be done to the Deck after this point.
By presenting your Deck to your opponent, you agree that you have sufficiently randomized your Deck.
I usually shuffled my deck before I went to an event, but I guess I should do it after arriving just to now show that I'm not cheating. Trust is dead and people like him killed it.
Thought you were only allowed to cut their deck. Not shuffle their Deck
I feel like this should be already accounted for. For all the card searches these days this should be obvious
"You cant be Champion of the Yugioh League without knowing how to spam Trap Cards!"

I agree
My friend cheats in front of me most of the time lol but i only call it out it when i want it in my favor xD
In our locals, we have the judge on our tourney duels both search and shuffle the deck when needed. So far, no cheating
Yes, My cousin got cheated out of top 8 by one guy who put his best card at the bottom and draw top and bottom when my cousin was shuffling his deck. My cousin was too polite to call him out.
Add that asterisk to all his victories
"bad time to be a cheater" Pretty sure it was never a good time lol
Roy St. Clair's career would disagree with you
I saw a very well known yugioh judge do this (the first example of cheating) a couple years back. I even told the assistant head judge the exact card he stacked on top (as I saw it). And he DID NOT get DQ'ed because "his opponent doesn't remember not cutting his deck". I explicitly explained how he shuffled his deck, the card he stacked and that he didn't offer his opponent (who was his friend) to cut his deck. He ended up winning a Minerva in this event. Might I add, I had judged with most of (if not all) of the judges on that day.
I stopped judging after that.
it so disgusting to see a world champion plays like that
Maybe he always played like that.
Thanks for highlighting this, Cap. I'm noticing a lot of people in the comments talking about cheaters needing perma-bans from Yugioh. There are many current "top level" Yugi players in the US who have been banned for cheating in the past, yet no one questions how they're back on top of the game again. I'm not saying, "Once a cheater, always a cheater" is true, but if someone with a history is able to climb again with ease, it might be worth the skepticism.
you know how bad a game gets when people resort to cheating just for small prizes
tbh that has nothing to do with the game and everything to do with the players.
There is cheating in any kind of competitive setting.
So basically the guy is like yami yugi, he can top deck whatever card he wants at any time. He has the millennium puzzle!
He also shuffles his graveyard which is also very illegal the melu was on top but the pot card becomes the new top card
As a casual player I often forget that your opponent gets to cut your deck cuz with friends we never do

You're caught cheating in any card game, you should be banned for life.
Joshua Shark agreed!
There are many current "top level" Yugi players in the US who have been banned for cheating in the past. Yet no one questions how they're back on top of the game again.
Agreed
With the cossy id catds they caan simply ban them for life
Is there ANY card game where cheaters get banned forever?
@@TrianglePants there are many but in Poker you can get banned from locations or certain tournemants but in Yugioh if you want to play on a event you register with a Konami ID Card
You can only have one if its gone or you lose it its over
If you want to register a new one you need to show your ID and they will delete your old number
So if they ban his ID there is no way to ever play yugioh anywhere in the world again which is quite extreme
I guess someone didnt believed in the heart of the card

Yeah but I can, that's Rivalry of Warlords.
It's one of those cards that if you seen it 50000000 times you can recognize it even with a bunch of shiny and glare
I’ve said it once I’ll say it again, when a good player cheats it’s out of a sense of entitlement to victory: basically ‘if it weren’t for luck I would win. My deck strategy is perfect. I deserve to win, I’m the best player after all’ they honestly don’t see it as cheating because they feel they’re entitled to win. How is making it fairer cheating? That’s the mindset.
This vid ironically proves Roy st Clairs point when he said all top duelest cheat
Screw the Rules I got Komeoney.
The temptation to cheat is massive in games look over watch and other FPS. The point is to take a chance with a camera watching is stupid but it says a lot. I haven’t played in a awhile but players from the time I played such as Adam Corn. Although I’m not condoning the behavior I definitely would like to investigate why he did it with so much attention around.
Every 3 episodes, someone is cheating in the show. I think it adds much more character to the game. Not only do you have to win, but you have to believe in yourself so much that you even beat the cheaters. It is the entire enemy archetype of the game. Once you get caught, you should have to play the role of a villain at all future tournements. Give them a mark or something. But if the cheater wins, they only get 10% of the prize and the rest is donated to charity or something.
bro what 😭😭
This just adds to why no one outside the game takes it seriously. Way too many times this stuff happens.
I love how this guy is like Verlisify of Yugioh but he isn’t hated by the whole community
Bandit keith's student
Plot twist: he didn’t actually cheat, he just has a really CONSISTENT deck.
Send him to the shadow realm!
I was looking for this comment!
Always cut your opponents deck after they are done looking in it.
I read awhile ago that if you are searching through your deck and you have multiple cards that are together you can move them because your going to shuffle the deck
Good morning Cap!
I’m more amazed how different Yu Gi Oh has changed. It’s all blue cards. Back in my day, blue cards were ritual monsters. Nobody plays spells or traps, the placement is completely different, and each player’s has a specialized calculator. I can’t even recognize this game anymore.
The game certainly has grown over the last 16 years, for sure. I remember when counter traps were new, then they brought in the quick play spells, etc... The game is much more combo driven now, and generally plays a lot faster than it used to. It's not necessarily a bad thing though.
It even says in the rules you have to present the deck to your opponent after every shuffle
Fool, he should’ve sprayed each card with different types of perfume.
seeing that upside down firewall makes me think of the missed opportunity of defense position link monsters changing the zones they point to.
Next, Altergeist player will draw Rivalry of Warlords. CapG is talking about Knightmares being all different attributes, while Rivalry OBVIOUSLY considers their type. All Knightmares are Fiend type.
You can’t exclude anyone from cheating I played at some of the events billy and Jeff won and you don’t win back to back YCS with out cheating even if it’s a soft cheat(like using an effect that you know you can’t activate because you opponent did read your card). I have had a YCS winner switch cards in there back row because they set a monster.
Cannot win back to back ycs without at least soft cheating. You do realize this game based on random luck that you have to try minimize. It's possible to win back to back championship without cheating.
kyle hibana mercy storm rockets no, it’s not.
@@ryanrs1000 yes it is.
Anything is possible. But cheating is still cheating.
And they say yugioh doesn’t take any skill. False shuffling takes a lot of practice and nerve.
Cheaters gonna cheat...
So this is how yugi draws his cards
It's both of their faults because the opposing player did not shuffle his deck after he touched it even if he's not done searching
At least he won't fall off any more stages
Damn! That's ridiculous. No World's for Ryosuke next year.
The FIRST rule you should learn in any TCG is to cut your opponents deck after every shuffle. The SECOND rule you should learn in any TCG is to cut your opponents deck after every shuffle.
Its not like Yugi hasn't cheated himself summoning God cards without sacrifices... blaim the anime
The anime has nothing to do with actually playing the game. Anyone who follows those rules dont know how to play the game
How does that effect the shuffle after he's done? the -ONLY- flaw here is the fact that whoever was watching and making sure this duel was legit, didn't ensure that the deck was given to his opponent to shuffle.
Kinda makes you wonder if they should go back and see if he cheated last year.
Bandit keith be like:
That's my bro!
I can't say I'm surprised. He tried to stack at worlds on stream during his feature match.
Well looks like you've gotta revise that top 10 cheaters list Cap G.
People would put firewall upside down to indicate they used the bounce effect already
I like how he did evently let the other guy shuffle his deck after he go the card he wanted
He tried cheating under reboot also. TCG is worse at catching things. There’s many cheaters.
Not the first time he’s tripped up
AnimeNewsNetwork is a surprising source. YGOrg hasn't even mentioned this yet :p
Only the tournament organization made an official article about it. Obviously, it is shady and the subject is open to the air. While many players including judges see many illegal plays, you can't rule out the portion that thinks a misaction, call it whatever it is, escalated to oblivion. Such actions are needed to be taken with precaution because it will ruin someone's career otherwise. I just think domestic problems need to be dealt with by themselves and no one should get involved in foreign drama unless Konami makes it public.
OH MY FREAKING GOSH! First Pokemon (both Card Game and video game) and now Yu-Gi-Oh?! WHY DOES EVERYONE FEEL LIKE THEY HAVE TO CHEAT TO WIN?!
Both players were degenerates, one was using the stupid extra link and the other had to cheat just because he was desperate.
Well not everyone who plays the Pokemon video games is cheating to win. Some just do it for fun, but raise legitimate competitive teams to compete. But this guy was obviously cheating. Sucks, since he was a champion too.
Ya know, these “Top Players” sometimes really don’t deserve their titles.
I know right I mean seriously these players you see the players cheat more than actually play the game I swear these champions just don't understand what it means to be champions They are disgrace to the game Me I rather lose honorably than win by cheating
So do I. In fact, I would even let my opponent win by using a warpig deck (Sky Striker)
And I thought a certain duellist who uses machine cards and 3 seven complete cards was the one who cheated.
Imagine if the top car was originally Rivalry of the warlords..cheated for nothing ...TROOOOOOLLZ
If being a top player means being a blatant cheater, then i ain't about that life.
But what is the point of it?
The deck has to be shuffled after a search effect.
He had the soul of a 5000 year old Pharaoh in him.
Straight up stopped playing Yugioh cause a guy cheated against me.
His cheat was drawing his card, not liking it, putting it back in the deck and claiming I stacked his deck and drew a new card. Called a judge who couldn't do anything cause I had no proof. He denied doing anything. This was at a locals btw.
Definitely Bandit Keith. Just force him to play a warpig deck in a casual duel and you're good to go
You’re aloud to do it mid duel. As long as it is shuffled and presented to cut. It’s done a lot to unclump cards
Dont know if thats for all events but definitely 2 major events in japan
Didn't one of the top guys years ago get permabanned for cheating? If I remember correctly, he said in an interview "If you're not cheating, you're not winning"
Unfortunate that someone at such a high level did that. I feel like he's gonna lose his title to the public now because of it. Oh well.
He is. People are telling him to retire, confess, switch to Vanguard, mocking him, etc on all his tweets. Such an unfortunate thing but I don't know his side, maybe a super mega unintentional thing but rules are rules and he gets punished like all of us. Better not get into foreign drama though.
@@ma-0xff0000 True true. Sucks, but there's only so much we can do.
@Jaiken The placing of the card unintentionally at the top is possible (although highly unlikely). The failure to properly shuffle consistently however makes it blatently obvious he knew what he was doing.
All these busy hands and shuffling on 2x speed is driving me insane.
Lol
You are allowed to stack your deck. You just have to offer it for a cut every time you go inside.
There are people at my locals who do something similar they will search and then not let me cut their deck because they say they are gonna be searching again then they never do
5:02 Ofc you can put your cards in a different place in your deck. The point is that you then have to offer your opponent a cut/ shuffle.
At least he didn’t do a bandit keith
so annoying to see people constantly shuffling there GY, hand or extra deck
Right?! Its so annoying since there is no point to it. The hand I can sort of understand doing immediately after you search something but not 5 times in your opponent's turn.
Most likely a psychological tactic. Even subconciously if it distracts you for a split second there's advantage for them to do it. Or it's simply just used to randomize the hand.
Agree thats why when i play at tournament when see my opp to much suffle without a reason for example effect card.etc i will say stop that or i call a judge for shuffleling without a reason
I shuffle my hand if my opponent is taking too long and I get bored. Personally I don't have an issue with it because it doesn't affect the current game state. Now shuffling the graveyard is a whole other story since some card effects involve specific locations in it (Question and Helpomer).
I sat next to Billy during the zoodiac format and I watched him put a zoodiac broadbull from his grave into his deck for no reason while his opponent was asking questions and being a fanboy. During the ft. Worth regionals. His own girlfriend called him out and he made the maddest looking face. His opponent didn't even catch it though.
Ik a guy at my locals that constantly cheats and I even see him looking at me while shuffling to make sure I'm not paying attention to his illegal moves like him adding stuff to hand or stacking his deck.
I didn't know you couldn't move cards before shuffling it.. I don't play competitively at tournaments either though. If I seen multiples clumped together like 3 kaigeki together I move them in different spots before selecting and shuffling. now I know not to do that though!
He should've read the disclaimer of every Japanese episode of yugioh, play fair duel fair (something like that)
Its the law. The opponent has to shuffle your deck or you go to jail
Notice how His opponent gave him the finger as soon as he flipped rivalry
This is why cutting cards is so important
Hey man. That guy is free to join my local tournament where anything goes. I run 3 Pot of Greeds and a Kaiju deck with 3 of their quickplays

Honestly they should have called the game Duel Monsters because that's what the game is actually called. Yu-Gi-Oh is the name of a character within the show.
