Oh my gosh, Michael, that was out of this world!! I cannot believe what I just heard. It was like she just threw every bit she had into that performance. It was better than their original, which was fantastic. Literally, moved to fighting back tears watching all of that. The modulation in the word song in “you know the movie song” just putting the whole thing over the edge. One of the best live performances I’ve seen. You must have been dying!!!! Thank you for sharing.
I used to go and hear Amy & Emily when I lived in Atlanta, before they were famous, and this song was always my request (I didn't know then that it was a cover of a Dire Straits song) and I think Amy brought the whole place to tears every time she sang it. All these years later she still gives it everything, and it's so beautiful. I was afraid I'd never hear it again without the whole audience screaming and singing with her!
I think this is the only live version of this song on RUclips where Amy isn't drowned out by the audience singing...
Yep
Oh my god. THANK YOU.

So beautiful. Once every few years this song pops into my head and I have to listen to it on repeat. Brings me right back to when I first heard it.
