- Episode 1 comes after my fight against Jairzinho Rozenstruik, my trip back home to Africa, and then returning to the United States after Stipe vs DC 3 to figure out when I am fighting for the heavyweight title. It's time to get my body ready for fight camp.

If he improves his ground game, he'll dominate the UFC, Stipe was smart to tire him out, no point trying to prove anything against a fighter who could hurt you in a split second
Funny thing is... he's a lot better on the ground than most of the HW division. He has 4 wins by submission!
Out of the UFC's top 15 HWs, only Olenik (46), Ubereem (17), Ivanov (6) & Tybura (6) have more submission victories.
In my opinion, Francis just needs to be patient. A jab from him would rock any heavyweight. If he just focuses on not rushing in and waits for his shots, Stipe is in for a massive concussion.

People don’t want to fight him. DC ducked him and Stipe doesn’t want to fight him again. The only person who’s really seemed game to fight him is Jon Jones
@Sant Paper how is jones scared. What facts do you have to back that up. Jones literally sat down with the UFC to make Francis his first heavyweight fight but the UFC didn’t want to make the fight. Moving up to heavyweight and putting himself in the division with Francis means he has to fight him eventually.

People say Gus beat him when they fought the first time, it was his closest fight, not DC, not Reyes, yet when he fought him again he absolutely destroyed him. Winner of Stipe - Francis fights Jones. Franz is the most physically gifted UFC HW I have ever seen. He looks like a superhero straight out of a comic book. If he keeps up his dedication to this sport the sky is the limit and that’s not a cliche. He has the potentials to be the Mike Tyson of MMA of this generation. Keep working hard Champ. Francis’s fight camp looks very good and professional man. Francis just keeps getting better and better at fighting-I’m excited to see how far Francis can go in mma and boxing-he’s one big, strong tough dude who always comes ready to fight. I grew up watching and training boxing and idolizing Mike Tyson too. Jon Jones vs Francis will probably be like Ali vs Tyson stylewise IMO. God bless Francis in his next fight for the title. This is a VERY exciting time in MMA because of high quality fighters/athletes like Francis, Vadim Nemkov, etc.
If UFC doesn't take care of Ngannou, then their competitors will. He truly is the Uncrowned Champ. Miss this beast of a fighter in the octagon.

@@mahakal98987 He lost a boring decision to Stipe, however Stipe got KO'd by DC and even Struve, sorry but Stipe has the worst and more frequent losses.
It's very likely that Francis will win the rematch, statistically more than 40% of rematches go the opposite way around, fighting is chaotic, it isn't predictable, a result a first time doesn't mean it will happen again. Similarly if Francis beats Stipe in this rematch, it wouldn't mean that Francis would then beast Stipe 10 times out of 10.

Francis is insanely talented. He started training as an adult, around his mid twenties.
To have even competed for a title is amazing. He learned after his first title fight, and knows not to just rely on a KO shot. I’m excited to see his growth. Francis even admitted he underestimated Stipe and was humbled.
I respect all fighters, I just hope to see the best versions of Francis and Stipe.
Stipe fanboys say he hasn’t changed, that’s the most ignorant comment ever. He’s improved cardio,slimmed up,ground game,striking and fight IQ. He adapted to rush Jarzinho, bc he realized kickboxing was a wasted cause. So he blitzed and finished him. That’s showing the ability adapt on the fly and overwhelm an opponent through a change in tactics,speed and approach.

Seeing Stipe now, it's pretty clear that age is catching up with him his slow reflexes, not the same fighter he was at his peak, so Francis has a chance now, but IF he beats Stipe, he will know it wasn't the prime version of him. But even now he will have to fight and be a huge improvement from last time to beat Stipe.
