Things to do to upgrade/improve sound. remove forward screw. Create a channel in the wood under the popsicle to create a leading edge (to collect resonance evenly). Add steel bar (or any fret material) to the leading edge to improve note transmission to resonance plank. replace wood plank with box or hollow the plank to improve resonance. leave both popsicle and wood in salt/rise mixture in closed bag to remove as much moisture as posible.

@@nedaerylmaz9480 classical (and acoustic) guitar bridge have a silver of plastic, or even hard wood that divide the resonant media in two, where the division on the bridge is set tunes the scale of the vibrating media, but is not anchored there (the anchor point is behind the edge thus does not affect or mute vibrations before transmitting to the resonant media), without it, the sound is not efficiently transmitted to the resonant media creating a lower volume and anchor mutes the note thus producing a dull sound.
