Just placed my order for an ST fully loaded for $30K out the door on Friday🎉. (When I tell you I had to strong arm these folks) This video popped up just in time to make feel even more confident in my purchase. Thank you!
I have a 25 preferred... And that's the very first thing I noticed about mine was how quiet the cabin was... At 70 mph going down the highway I had very little wind noise and very very little road noise... It's extremely quiet... In the 2025 models... All trim levels get parking sensors in the rear... That comes in real handy when you're backing into a parking space given the fact that these cars are so hard to see out of now
Bought my wife one. She loves it. I had to take it to the shop for the the software update because of the auto stop issue messing with engine timing. She only has 3,500.00 miles on hers but it seems to be a great car for what we paid.
We love this car.. I’m hemi chick lol.. but this car is smooth and not too bad with keeping up.. we live in San Diego so it does well with the hills.. my biggest issue is.. it says 28/32 for gas and we get about 23-26. We have the 25 st.
Dude, you have really helped me out a lot with my C5, especially the radio install and window adjustment videos! Thank you! I installed the Joying and absolutely luv it! You gave me the courage and knowledge to try it. Now I'm researching a 2nd car, Envista / Trax as a city car. So I was so surprised to see your video come up in my autofeed for my Envista research! I'm like "Hey that's the vette guy!"
I talked to a guy that was from China and he said the envista there have four bangers… Which is surprising… Not sure why they wouldn’t offer that here… If it’s already a done deal over there, shouldn’t be too hard to change it to suit North American standards…..time will tell …… supposedly threes are somewhat popular in the Europe and reliable
I recently drove a Preferred. I found it quiet and comfortable. All the complaints/speculation about the lack of power seem overblown. I’m disappointed I won’t be able to get one because I found the driver seat bottom cushion too small (hits me mid thigh) for my 6’ frame.
We have the same trip, 20k miles on multiple long trips. Looks great not to much to complain about. Yet it's always fun driving it. For us tanking long trips with friends in the back. Great investment.
Wow. 15 thousand miles and the car was in the shop. That is wonderful. You guys sound like you have a full and fun life. That 35 mpg has gotta help. The Envista is a gorgeous vehicle. I stopped by my local 'Buick' dealer to ogle one and it was gone. Not sold. Moved to another dealership. That dealership surrendered its Buick franchise as part of that dumb mandated EV transition. Terrible timing now that Buick has such sweet gas models.
Hi thanks for all of your informative posts regarding the Envista. Have you had a chance to drive it in winter weather? If so, how does it handle in the snow, and did you drive on all season tires, or put on snow tires?
That is a ton of driving. Make sure your finance is set to not go too long as it will be out of warranty and no one (I come from banking) - unless you can self insure (in which case why have a loan) - but no repairs and loan - one should run out and the other sort of take over for cost.
@@SRN625 Yes, that is even higher mileage - doubly important to be recognizing that if finance for a longer term you could be up-side-down on lending often and that increases if repairs come along - particularly with the risk of out-of-warranty repairs becoming a "knock on wood" concern.
So crazy how I never come across RUclipsrs from the same state but as soon as I move to Florida from Va Beach I found you 😂. My family and I will be rest driving one of these soon and we are curious about how much space the front passenger side chair will have with a rear facing car seat. Do you have any insights on that?
Hmmmmm idk if I’d buy it cause idk I like the price but then on the other hand I know it’s manufactured in South Korea and I can guess some quality though is nice for the price but I know eventually it’s gonna get a little iffy I’ve heard the monitors can bug out and the trim may start to come off and so on so a lease might be good to decide on it or go to something else
Correct. The ladies insurance covered everything. We had a jeep compass (garbage) & a RAV4 (nice, but didn't have the bells & whistles the envista has) the reason for the 6 month wait was a new lift gate (none in stock). Once it was received it only took 6 days to finish.
@@VetOnVettesthat’s turbo….. i presume it came from china….. how is it possible that something that common was that hard to get? I know it’s halfway around the world but shipping it would take Best a week or two.
If Buick was paying me I would say it was an influencer review, also it would be more 'views/drama' to bad mouth it. For $30k it's been a great little SUV. The tires will chirp if you punch it from a stop. It's geared for quick acceleration (1-3) and mpgs (5&6). A 3 cylinder turbo is nothing new and is becoming more common between Toyota, Ford & GM. You are allowed to not like it. 👍👍

I have a Preferred, ,living in CT, and I adore it. I can’t get enough of my Envista.

Do you think this car would be nice for a beginner driver?
Please. Try to somehow check engine timing belt condition. Yes, you have to remove a valve cover, but it could cost you an engibe replacement

How is 15k a year a lot of driving 💀 I drive min 25k a year

Hi from California SoCal, How is the power for a normal freeway 75 to 80 and passing ?
The blend actuator went out on my then brand new 2018 Honda Accord. No big deal. That’s what warranties are for.

Some are made in S. Korea. some in China (!)
The key thing is the engine. 3 cylinder with a turbo would be my main reason not to buy the car. How’s the engine???
In the winter months did you need weight in the back for better traction on the snow and ice
The person (influencer reviewing the car) lives in VA - what true snow conditions would you expect in Virginia? Slim to none.
Wouldn't help much as the vehicle is front wheel drive
Is this good for a single retired man?
What was done to alleviate the pain of six months without a car… Did the insurance pay for a replacement car during that.

Get all season mats for the trunk
I had just bought some for the wife as an Xmas gift. 👍.
Wtf???? 6 months in a shop???? Not acceptable!!!
that hat... idk man.
Feels like influencer's review. 3 cyl engine? that's a joke. Acceleration? lousy. Longevity of 3 cyl. turbo engine? Questionable.

In the shop for 6 months, what the hell happened ?
We were rear ended and took 6 months to get replacement parts.
