I had this problem on my 1998 V6 camaro and it was the Ignition control module. I got the part cheap from a scapyard that had a couple 98 camaros and i also got an ICM form a newer buick that had the same engine, I installed the Ignition Control Moduel from the camaro and my car was fixed! so new ICM and maby some coil packs.
Most times if your having misfires try replacing sparks plugs, wires ,and ignition module also coil packs your will run smoother and most likely that code will leave (code popped up because there was rust build up on module).
I have the same clamping spot light and I also have the aluminum tape to hold it together. 😂😂😂
Why don't you take the whole fuel rail out and do them all at once like the repair manual says

Just some help for you, you don't put the injector in first and then the clip.
You put the clip on the injector and then plug the injector into the fuel rail. 👍
When the fuel pressure regulator fails on these cars the pressure increases causing negative fuel trim and fouling misfires ect.
I have everything disconected but my injectors wont come out any help
Ok so mine just started doing this tonight. Ran fine up until now. I have replaced plugs and wires and coil packs. Next was going to be the control module and now I guess I need to try the injector. If none of that works then what else could it be?? At that point its all new parts lol
Hopefully it won't be what mine turned out to be... Goddam camshaft! 😣
I replaced all of it and turns out the coil and wire was bad. I also replaced the EGR valve and she runs great so far.

Has anyone found what the cause of this would be? Seems to be pretty common for no one to have figured it out.
Wing Nuts Auto , yes I found the problem, is a specific injector for cylinder 6 and 5, they are a little big longer. In my case the injector 5 wasn’t sit correctly because was the incorrect one.
Wing Nuts Auto : I continue to wrestle with this after 2 years. I have had it into shops. But you know it's something simple right in front of everybody's face. Isn't it always. looks like my last resort might be taking it into a dealership and have it put on there special scopes as much as I hate to be forced to do that.

@@myronmccowan6121 Never found it. Other probs cropped up some 3 yrs. later. Now installing all new fuel injectors.
So, FYI. Among many other problems, the final problem turned out to be the camshaft. See the other vids. #ChuckFasst

I think they built this car to be problematic. I worked on my 96 until I had no ambition. Sure wish I knew someone that liked these cars and wanted to teach an interested party. Where are affordable camaro resources. Cool car just not simple to get going with the maddening electronics. No cheap way to fix them.
