@@geezersbassin2567 oh ok I’ll have to try it out looks like a good one from the video and I’m surprised you are still commenting on comments to this vid and have to tried crooked lake in Delton mi that is a good lake well it was a year ago you should try it out
@@Maxvaughn1 I have tried both upper and lower crooked and I really like them both but not having to pay to fish so I don’t go often. Long Lake in Portage is a good one to try though. I’ve only fished Long Lake Delton once years ago when I first got my old Bass Tracker Panfish boat.
Nice bass! Jig is my confidence bait. I can't believe you use a spinning set up though. I will use a spinning on a 1/8 oz bitsey jig but not on anything bigger. Your hookup ratio will increase if you switch to a baitcaster. Jigs work anywhere I go...Great vid...
My first suggestion would be fishing under docks and pontoon boats in both lakes with senkos or jigs if you have a trolling motor. Otherwise on Long Lake try to fish along the weedy drop off from the shallow flats on the main lake. For Austin it can be good just to cover lots of water in the middle areas of the lake with a reaction lure then fish any weedy spots a little longer with a senko or whatever you like.
We had a cottage here when I was little and the bass were insane,, fish near the creek in the cove, that was our place
Nice lake for a cottage as a kid. Thanks for the tip!
Long lake in Delton Mi
Nope, the one in Portage by Austin Lake
