That would have been an awesome spot for a Whopper Plopper. I have passed that lake a few times while out looking for creeks around Clam lake just north of there. I have a lure fly at my head everytime that I trout fish 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I really appreciate my lake maps on lakes like these. Its easy to damage a motor with such variations in water depth. Halfway through the day I realized my camera switched itself to timelapse mode, so I did the best I could with the footage. Gotta love GoPro!
Ya'll got about as wet as the fish. Great multi-species day. The loon was not minding the rain.😜 The spinner baits were working after the storm, even caught yourself with the spinner!! 😂
Hi Karen. It cools down early in these parts. I just winterized the boat and I'm getting ready for ice fishing. That should mean you guys are getting ready for some hot weather!
That was pretty much non-stop and a great place for a Slam.....You know when I look at the contours on the topo I wonder if the deep depressions were dug out during the Ice Age!!🎣
Hi Wes. We have many glacial lakes here. If you look closely, you can see a swath a lakes that stretch from the Dakotas, across Minnesota and into Wisconsin. When I'm flying back to Minneapolis in the mornings, all the lakes reflect in the sunlight. Its quite impressive to see the thousands of lakes that dot the landscape. I just took Reed camping last weekend near the town I grew up in and showed him the ice age trail. Its a 1000 mile trail through Wisconsin that goes through places that the glaciers formed. its quite beautiful.
@@GoMidwestFishing I learn something new everyday and never realized that all the lakes were formed by Ice....That's quite a swath across the north....Now I know!!🎣
Hi Ben. Our goal is to fish a new lake every time we go out. If you got some good lakes to suggest that we haven't fished yet, I'm open to suggestions. So far we fished, chain, clear, McCann, Island, Potato, Round, Long, and Herde in that area. I was quite impressed with these lakes, and wouldn't mind taking another trip there.

I tried my new whopper plopper out at Audie lake, but haven't had any hits yet. I guess I will have to wait until next year🤔
3 to 100 feet! That’s what I call a drop off
As always great video my Man!
Turned out on a multi species video. AWESOME 👏

You know what they say.. "Its all fun and games until someone gets a hook in the face." It wouldn't be my first trip to the hospital for hook removal.
Looks like a fun day on the water
Its always a fun day on the water, even if it is storming.
Surprised there wasn't any Walleyes. Looked like there were a lot of bites, which is always a good thing.
Well, I'm not the greatest walleye fisherman, so it could have been user error. I was quite happy with the bite though.
Bass on a snake! 😮 I would think that underwater hump would be a hot spot for fish!
Reggie has caught several fish on that snake now. I would love to see you try the snake! Bass seem to love it.
Hi Randi. Loved watching this cooler weather fishing :)
