I’m doing manual lessons and the other day I was stuck in traffic for 10 mins on a hill lol. I don’t know how I managed not to roll back or stall.

Hi sir , as you said if the signal is red and you are at the stop line put the clutch down and hand brake, so for the automatic cars I think the park button is the hand brake .. do we have to select park gear or no hand brake for automatic cars ( means we can just hold the brake untill light turns green ) or we can just just turn on the park button on the left side while waiting at the traffic signals ? Please please let me know I am stuck on this point.
