Watching these old episodes encourage me to push hard through the betrayal of my husband and his side chic. Mel inspires me. She has over came so much of the humiliation between Martel and his side chic . She has come out on top. She is the real MVP.
Same! I was in a really bad relationship when season one came out. As time went on, she eventually left her bad situation and I realized that it is okay to start over.
So the Scotts try to play smart and take advantage of Melody and Martel but Melody see right through the BS she is boss and straight with it.
Am I right in thinking maybe i could see why Mel tolerance is reserved they all knew about Martel and the affair

I doubt we will see her in that hairstyle again. Maybe she didn’t think it was sexy enough so now she always with long hair. I think she looks great in any hairstyle.

As we all see now melody was the brains in that relationship. Her intelligence her drive her ambition definitely made Martell insecure. He didn't cheat on her with someone at her level he cheated with someone lower that little girl made him feel like a man
And what he should have went from the beginning yes it got switched around mens we're put here to be the main provider for his family I will never be that desperate for a man again and just take care of him while he gets to do what ever he wants Never!!

absolutely men never cheat with someone that the wife can compete with. They always downgrade to make them feel better. Martell wanted Melody to stop working and just be a stay at home mom and having all those kids was supposed to slow her down and it never did.

Looking at this episode, compared to where Melody is now, shows me how strong of a woman she is. I see how hard she fought for her family, to only have her husband throw it all away. She deserves all the good she has received. For any woman to go through a divorce on tv has to be hard on anyone.

Listening to the Holts I agree. Kimmie and her husband is so hostile that I know that there is bs in the deal. If there were 6 people to go on the loan that’s what it is. How are they going to try and flip it on the Holts? The Holts did their part. Looking at this episode makes me think they could have made things work, I don’t know but they are really good business partners.
The Comeback Group is a genius idea, but the thing the Scotts are not understanding, while the financial burden may be equal Mel and Martell are taking a greater risk also because like they said they have many business relationships in the community and the other two companies may not have the same reputation and that is something to consider when thinking of the amount of risk each company is taking.

Now that I’m watching this again, I agree with The Holts. They had more success in their businesses and loans. Not saying both Scott’s aren’t successful but they know they were all greater with The Holts attached. This is why they were all begging them to come back to the group in the long run. I hope next season they revisit doing something new with this group. The topic was great for the show.
What did the Scott's propose after finding out that they did not qualify for the loan? Arguing their case will not get the loan approved. Add your names or the Holts are out. After 2 years I can see why Mel still says hell no to the Comeback group.
That was terrible! They all were using Mel that's why they mad because they plan didn't work in the end! I'm so happy for Mel, they all were trying to ride her coat tail. Even though her marriage didn't work she's still winning in the end and they mad!💯
