- In this video, I'll show you how to edit a TikTok video, step by step. When it comes to editing TikTok videos, you have a ton of options. You can use editing software on your computer, you can use mobile editing software, or even hire an editor.
For 99% of people, you don’t need to do any of that. You can edit TikTok videos without using any editing software.

For everyone else, let’s edit a TikTok video from scratch.
The TikTok app has some powerful editing solutions and once you learn them, you’ll be able to edit professional videos on TikTok, fast and easy.
Let’s get started with the recording process. We can use the app to record any new clips or we can bring in clips from our phone.
The trick with editing good TikTok videos is doing a lot during the recording process. When creating videos on TikTok, you have two pages. The recording page and the editing page.
Both have some powerful editing options and we’ll combine both. And it's that simple to edit videos on TikTok.

This is a good video. I have a question though. I’m on iOS and there is no volume button to push to adjust the volume of the music versus a voiceover. I’ve been through every menu and cannot find it. Can you help with that?
I have an IOS. When you pick the song, there is a volume button in the bottom right corner. Click on that.

hi there, I don't have the bar at the top of my TT screen that shows how long it's recording for so I can't stop recording and then continue. Any thoughts why?

When I edit on their app and I do the splicing it seems like no matter what I do there is always 10 seconds of a black screen in order for it to keep using the text to speech option I just wanted to end it when the funny photo pops up in the stitch
