That 4 game stretch for Collins was so magical. Felt like he couldnt miss a throw and honestly felt like we was one of the top teams in the playoffs that year when he was starting
Yes man!! I’m looking at this game and it doesn’t even feel real! The franchise took a complete 180 turn until I don’t even realize this is FedEx. This goes to show how Snyder ran this franchise into the ground!!!
I'll never forget how my boys fought after losing Sean Taylor! They really fought for a fallen teammate! Didn't win the Superbowl, but it was special! #21 Forever!
I was 17 and a senior in high school. I still remember the saying the team was using before that 5 game run, “5 in a row or we don’t go!”. I was born in 1990 so didn’t have many seasons to enjoy but this season was definitely in the top 3
Dude, that completion with 15 seconds to go in the first half, was probably one of the smoothest out route to the sidelines for a clock stop play i ever remember seeing. Lol
Winning this game by 21 pts was so fitting. And Todd Collins will forever be a DC legend. He played his ass off the following week in the Wildcard, but the bottom just finally fell out because the roster was so beat up due to injuries.
The great thing about Joe Gibbs , was he was about the win needed, and not so about what everyone else was doing.... He was focused.... It's about making, his teams destiny.... Do what's needed, then deal the rest after the game....
So, 3 out of the 4 teams in the NFCE made the playoffs in 2007? The Eagles finished at 8-8...I didn't check out the records of other NFC teams, but if they played 17 games and expanded the number of playoff teams back then like they do today, there's a good chance all 4 NFCE teams would've been in the playoffs.
That BS at the end of the half was so typical of the refs trying to screw DC and help Dallas. The clock ran down to zero on the fieldgoal play, but wait, somehow there is one second added.
Wow, lots of blah blah blah about the playoffs. This was not a good Redskins team, which Seattle pointed out very quickly. Highly overrated Cowboys team too.
Thank you Captain Obvious. I don't think anyone was really claiming otherwise. The real story was how they rallied at the end of year after Sean Taylor was murdered.

When washington actually packed the stadium with ITS fans not the opposing teams fans!
Joe Gibbs..... Only reason.

WE LOVED THE NAME
@jonathonpoloski917 no it's tradition
What Dan Snyder did to this team is despicable

Todd Collins' 5 minutes of fame.

Todd Collins being "a DC legend" is a far reach brahh...
@@FranchiseENT202 It's actually so dumb it's funny
the commercials are nostalgic #HTTR
As a life long Dallas Cowboys man.... I MISS playing the Washington REDSKINS.
THE REDSKINS. That sounds great.
I remember watching this game. Feels like it was yesterday. *sigh*
During the early 2000's Dallas kept a 13 win team even a 12 or 11 wins lol it's documented as a redskins fan Romo was close several times...
Thank u for posting this..
Todd Collins started with my Buffalo BILLS in 1995 and played there til 97.
Jeezus, these commercials are ponderous.

He was a good football coach, he kept everyone focused on the job at hand. The Redskins did so well in that time period.
We should’ve won a Super Bowl that year!
They got very close, had Sean Taylor not passed, they had a chance. Sean was the heart of that defense.

NFC B(east) two straight years! Next year everyone was also at least .500
Joe Buck was pissed 18:30
I don't think he was pissed about the TD. I think he was trying hard not to say the wrong thing.
18:28 when we knew it was over ! #HTTR
New regime we are playoff boind
Romo a future telecaster giving advice then plays like shit IRL.
Pretty sure that’s not it works and you know that’s not true
