Here after the GOAT finally called it a career. Thanks, Tom. Thanks for almost a full lifetime of memories.
💯
I was really excited to watch this cause I don't know who wins, but then I remembered this is the '07 Patriots.
Lmao me too. I was like “2007? How come I’ve never heard of this game…oh wait never mind”
Oh well watch super bowl 42 ... I remember Eli beating y’all 😂😂😂
@@jsmiller0605 eww. Don't use yall. I'm a Colts fan - I hate being associated with the Pats.
@@ace_stallion Peyton Manning is inferior to Tom Brady.
I had to check the year to see whether it was worth watching just for fun or to see who would win 😂
Ahhh 2007 was such a great year for everything
Nah. Not for everything. /
the giants winning the sb was the cream on top
wow, those first ten minutes were just riveting.
RIVETING!
Rivet 🐸 rivet 🐸 tss
That was intense
My favorite part.
This was Superbowl 41.5, I was sticking up for my big bro in Superbowl 42 😤
Pats fan, but I'm still very very sad that the Manning's never met in a Super Bowl. Woulda been an awesome game to witness.
@James Tolbert bro what smh
A back up QB Nick Foles also beat Brady in a SB and he did it in a shoot out..Eli isn’t the only one who beat him. Also Eli never said, mentioned or hinted that SB win was for in any shape way or form for Peyton.
Eli has too much self pride to even think that, let alone say it.😘
Also didn’t you cry to your daddy (Archie Manning) that you didn’t want to play for the team who drafted you, the San Diego Chargers. So your daddy helped get you traded to the NY Giants.
Ya that is true.
Dang man.. I miss the early 2000s football

I miss those NFL Replay program shows. They actually aired the Patriots Colts 2007 game that time. I believe they also aired the NFL game of the week 40 min shows of every game with Steve Sabol. IF you find any GOTW shows from 2004 to 2008, let me know. :)
I was able to recover and watch them a while back but now the sites changed
This is my all-time Brady vs Manning matchup right here!
06 AFC championship was the best one
mine is the 24-0 comeback for brady back in 13
@@domholmes4937 2013 playoff game was great too. So many good games. We need the next big rivalry to take hold soon or things will get boring.
Even though pats lost that AFCCG in ‘15 @denver… I’ll never forget those 4th down catches by Gronk
This game was a heavyweight bout. It was so big that CBS cut off the other games that were going on.
This game was Super Bowl 41.5
NFL Throwback had the highlights of the game and they actually named it Super Bowl 41.5.
The real super bowl was the AFC Championship back then.

We’ll never see a matchup like Brady and Manning again
@Mitchell Movie Productions lol.
@Mitchell Movie Productions 😂
I think this game still at the top highest rating game in the nfl cz the anticipation then the rivalry & i don't think ppl realize that bcs back then they both were really really good team & if one of them won the regular season game they were favored to won the confrence . This game was kinda like revenge for the patriots bcs they lost to the colts at 2006 afc championship . That's why they name this game superbowl 41,5.
This what's called EL CLASICO
Brady vs Manning .
Good old rivalry
At first, I was hoping for a rematch of the AFC championship game the year before, but again you still have to worry about history repeating itself as to how these 2 teams fared in the playoffs
Now here's a game I only vaguely recall so it's nice to see it added here.
Best Rivalry in the 2000s
I remember being so pumped for this game but was mad that i had to miss part of it since the Chargers Vikings game wasnt over yet 😂
Man this game is bittersweet. Great game just I remember the crushing defeat at the Super Bowl. Never should have happened with the stacked roster they had. Go Pats!
1:41:05 when the pumped in crowd noise gets stuck on a loop. Nothing to see here folks. Move along.
You're right, yet no one mentions this and how the Colts were infamous for pumping in fake crowd noise into their dome.
Damn. As a Colts fan this disappoints me. Didn’t know it was true or not until now. I’d always noticed a droning noise in 2009-2010 home games.
I know they were accused of pumping in noise at the old RCA Dome, but nothing was ever conclusively found right? That aside, TV broadcast audio is different from in-stadium audio. So that more than likely was a broadcast issue. And I wonder if either teams local broadcasts or the radio broadcasts even, had the same clipping issue...
is pumped in crowd noise worse than deflated balls?
@@randallfloyd4476 Yep it is. One is where balls deflate naturally in cold weather while the other is an organization purposely skirting NFL rules to artificially pump in crowd noise.
Logan mankins played almost the entire season with a broken leg
Love the way the NFL made sure you would not miss this game on CBS most west coast teams played on the road on the east coast so most of them played at 1pm
1:27:11 That was a amazing catch by Randy Moss. This game was a battle of the titans. Fantastic.
Got the lol when they said HD…
Yeah I was surprised. The NFL themselves don't have this in HD? By 2007 most of the primetime games were all in HD.

Whew Manning had hate in his eyes at the end of this game. I don't blame him. Competition meant something back in these days
I would too if I’d get beat up by Brady every damn time
Why is the game skipping drives ????
I forgot how good Laurence Maroney was this year*.. also, there was nothing better than a good Brady vs Manning match up... I do wish I appreciated Peyton when he was playing more. I was too busy hating on him lol

29:50 Reggie wayne run blocking 10 yards down field helps gain an extra 5 yards or so. Next play, Manning comes right to him. Coincidence, or is that how Manning worked?
Super Bowl XLI 1/2 - 60 Minutes of action!
I like how the NFL leaves in the commercials but for some reason decides to edit out the first Patriots drive of the game...
11:57 Where's the HD broadcast?
Seems a cpl mins are missing from 1st qtr
Apparently the NFL is having a hard time finding qualified employees for it's RUclips Channel. Video doesn't start until 11:30. Then New England's first offensive possession is missing. WTF is up with that? Just tried watching another video of Peyton's first game back in Indy with the Broncos and there was radio broadcast audio in the background of a NBC broadcast. Does anyone actually pay attention before they upload these games?
I mean you can always take the time and upload videos instead of complaining
@@BostonSportsFan91 If I had video of the game I wouldn't be watching on YT but thanks for your input. If it was some fan recording it would make more sense. This is the NFL YT channel, you would think they would have editors that would realize there is no video for over 11 minutes at the beginning. Being a Boston sports fan maybe you could share it, but doubt you have a video of it either.
@@pardonmedoug886 well you forget friend I wasn’t the one complaining 👍🏻😂
Sorry if my criticism of the NFL bothered you. Yep I made a comment criticizing the NFL for having an incomplete video of a classic game. They must have a hard time making ends meet and can't hire competent video editors for their YT channel. I said it and I stand by it. I still enjoyed watching and am thankful for the upload. @@BostonSportsFan91

Wow this was the same week AP set the all time single game rushing record and he was just a rookie.
Such a monumental achievement by Adrian Peterson, yet many people overlooked it due to the hype of the unbeaten Colts vs Patriots matchup happening on the same day
This was Super Bowl 41.5!
The unbeaten bowl November 4 2007
I said it then and I will say it now. This game should have been a prime-time game like was in 2009.
¡Tom Brady vs Peyton Manning, la mejor rivalidad de la NFL!
The officials should be fined and suspended.
If New England loses this game they win the super bowl. Just forcing moss for the win, which was their down fall against the giants, they had a false sense of confidence in that game plan for the simple fact it’s worked 18 times before.
What makes you think that?
@@mariosnum1fan because I lived through it all, if they lose that game and have that wake up call in the season they’re not playing terrible in the super bowl.
@@kingflores8915 they had multiple opportunities for a wake up call though. The ravens game, for example, sticks out to me. The philly game at home. Even the cowboys and giants game somewhat. They had multiple ways to be woken up, but they were just too good, especially their offense. I don’t entirely agree with your argument, but then again, I get where you’re coming from.
@@mariosnum1fan yes, but watch how they celebrate this win, they already think they’ve beaten the best team they’ll see all season including the super bowl. If they lose this game they tighten up the offense and make the run game more prominent.
@@kingflores8915 I mean you have to think why they were happy; they blew that lead in the 06-07 afc champ game, and they knew it was a bitter loss.

SB Record. 2-2
3 TDs - 1 was in garbage time against Seattle and another was in blown coverage by the bears…Soo kinda just 1 earned TD
5 INT- 2 out of those 5 INTs were pick 6s to lose 2 different Super Bowls ( Saints, Seahawks)

Look at all these butthurt Brady haters. Your salty tears are delicious. 😂😂😂
My online experience with delusional Mahomes fans from the time he got his ass handed to him in the latest SB by Brady (2nd time in the playoffs):
1 out of every 15 people have reasonable responses. Mahomes is good. Is not even close to the GOAT. May be consoldered great years down the road. Brady definitely GOAT & Mahomes shouldn’t even be in the conversation yet.
14 out of 15 responses? Mahomes is INCREDIBLE. Baby GOAT. Will play 20 plus years guaranteed. Has the potential of surpassing Brady in SB wins. Will be GOAT.
The reason he lost the SB? It’s all the refs. It’s all everyone else’s fault. Don’t pay attention to his terrible qbrs or passing numbers. The only reason Brady won was because of his defense. Never mind the fact that virtually the same team didn’t make the playoffs last year without Brady or that he threw 3 TDs & completed 80% of his passes in the 1st half which was a SB récord or that his offense scored 31points. Excuse after excuse after excuse!
This is why Mahomes fans are so loathsome. They’re INCREDIBLY delusional!!! LMFAO!!! 😂🤣🤡

When they moved the Colts with Peyton from the AFC East to AFC South, they did it because Archie Manning (Peytons dad) said his son should get the easier division. So they kept the Dolphins in the East and moved Colts to the South.
