The 2024 San Francisco Supercross is here and its round two of the 2024 Monster Energy Supercross Championship. Jett Lawrence took the win at Anaheim 1, and now he has a stacked class of 450 competitors behind him, ready to take the top spot this weekend. Jason Anderson, Chase Sexton, Cooper Webb, Eli Tomac and Ken Roczen are all looking to snag a win in San Francisco, and the added difficulty of rain and mud could make it even more difficult. For our Best in the Pits video, MXA's Trevor Nelson scoured the very spread-out San Francisco paddock and he talked to multiple riders and mechanics about the potential mud.

No other bike brand can beat a clean and polish Suzuki. Maybe honda, lol. Kenny and Kyle's bike is so nice.
I love that yellow and those yellow rims, but they should get rid of that much white on Kenny's bike

Gas gas: “so for mud we do bigger radiators, solid brake discs, handgaurds, screens over radiators, gripper seat, open the chain guards, harder brakes pads.
Beta: “for mud we basically just get a bunch of foam and put it in the skid plate”

Visited there from Australia in 2022, watch a guy with a skateboard try and jump into the back of some guys ute(pick up truck) at the traffic lights, the guy got out then he tried jumping in his back seat, the guy stopped him and then he proceeded to smash his skateboard into the guys car as the dude drove off. Top quality place there.

Suzuki is the best looking bike I had two RMZ 450 and they handled so good the turning was amazing
I've been thinking about Barcia and Plessinger doing well in the mud, but honestly think Prado might sneak out a podium in those conditions. Those GP guys are very used to mud and just extremely rough conditions in general, but he is also still learning supercross so he probably won't have the same level of comfort especially dealing with the whoops and steep faces in the rain. Just hope it's a good race, and maybe we'll see different guys at the front for a change!

San Francisco does have a homeless problem. People come there to make the big money. If you don’t make it you’re in trouble. One bedroom small homes can cost a million dollars. But other western cities like Denver have more homelessness than San Francisco. San Francisco is one of the most aggressive cities that work to get people off the streets and to get them a job. Unfortunately working in tech design like so many do there they do projects and when the financing ends for a project ends people can be out of work until the find a company that will hire them for a new project. Some don’t seem to save for that day.
Hard to believe Suzuki still has to be kick started. That's embarrassing really. It will prove to be costly.

@@chrisitanerickson8790 ok thank you I didn’t know how early they canceled it. Also NJ last year was a borderline cancelation. They will race in rain but I guess now they take no chances with lightning which sucks
