If like me, you'd much rather be eating delicious Thai street food than traipsing round shopping mall, then I've got you covered. Today I'm giving you 5 top food courts in Bangkok to end your shopping nightmare.
We're hitting MBK, Siam Paragon, Terminal 21 as well as excellent cheap food court at Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang Airports.
While I'll be the first to admit that these shopping mall food courts lack the character of my usual Bangkok street food haunts, they still generally have better Thai food than anything you'll find in the UK or America.

My name’s Gary and I’ve been living in Bangkok for the past five plus years and travelling Thailand for over ten. If you love seeing off the beaten path, non-touristy, local life and authentic local life in Bangkok and Thailand then this is the channel for you. If go go bars on the Sukhumvit Road are more your thing (I’m not judging) then maybe not!

for me Terminal 21 food court is the best. good quality quantity delicious and very cheap. u also see epic view around

These food courts will be our saviour when visiting as we can all eat what we want and the fussy eaters can get their western food. I wish they were around 20 years ago and my parents would have visited BKK more often. I am watching my wife salivating over the Massaman and Biriyani.

Man those food courts were insanely good as were the street vendors.. flying in and out of Suvarnabhumi so many times the past few weeks 🤦♂️ I wished I knew .. thanks Gary.. now I’m almost tempted to make the 16 hour journey back over to try 🤦♂️😉🤣

If you're ever willing to go off the beaten track Imperial World in Samrong has two great food courts, which mostly serve the same things, and it caters to the locals. Much more diverse selection of dishes than the food courts in the centre of the city.
Please do not advertise that on the internet, pleaase keep that secret.

Self-imposed crispy pork bans are the best when you can break them whenever you want.
That Kuay Teow broth sounds uber delicious! You should have slurp the rest of the broth standing in front of Burger King.
I would have gotten extra pickled mustard greens, that stuff is addictive.

After many years of travel there I love the food parks man like you said it's food is as good as any street food I have found tbh.. Nice videos man don't think I would pile the chillies on like you do I find it overpowers the flavour for me

When did you film at the Suvarnabhumi airport food court? I wonder because since around January 2023 you do not use paper vouchers there anymore, but card as in T21.

Siam Paragon's food court is in two sections. One requires the purchase of the preloaded ticket and the other doesn't. If you enter from the upper floor of the mall via the escalator you may not ever get to the ticket counter or the sublevel you showed as there are numerous restaurants and Western fast food places in the upper food court which take cash or credit card but not the prepaid card.

Siam Paragon food court is too expensive and not that good. I prefer Terminal 21.

Just curious why ppl still wearing the masks?
Asians have been wearing masks long before Covid. It's a cultural thing. Pollution, garden variety illness, introversion. People wear masks for many reasons, it doesn't have to be politicized all the time.
Not impressed with Terminal food court. Don't understand the hype.
Good for typical Thai food, but extremely boring in their choice. It's "the usual suspects" choice of food.
I can understand why tourists would go, or if you just happen to be there. But absolutely not worth it to make a little detour.
Compare that with MBK food court with better choices, and where I had penis soup (ตัวเดียวอันเดียวตุ๋น) before... don't know if they still have it.
I agree 100 percent. It’s really only the price that’s impressive there and it is hard to argue with that value but I’d only go there if I was in the area and it was raining
