    Great vlog and you’re my favourite poker content creator. That said, I found it odd to hear you say that the villain was a tight player so, pocket 2’s was unlikely in his range but then on the turn you seems to easily assigned K7 and K2 as a consideration of his range. Am I missing something? I get the value of big/little suited hands, but it seems like a bit of a contradiction in the players profile/range from flop to turn.

    Would using a blocker sized bet of around 7k-10k be a reasonable option in the last hand? So that Airball gets a real good price with his AJ’s, turned Q’s etc and feels obligated to call it off?
    Or would he never believe you would do this with a flush or something to induce and pounce with a bluff putting you in a though spot?
    Would love you guys’ thoughts on this thank you 🍀

    • @leonroth5407
      @leonroth5407 2 года назад +1

      You can only be talking about a blocker bet if you’re the one out of position but he is in position on nik. Therefore a bet wouldn’t be called a blocker bet anyways. Also you have to think about how you would play bluffs in this scenario and I doubt that you would ever wanna Bluff for such a small amount in that spot. If he was playing against a different/worse/less aggressive player you could maybe use that size because it wouldn’t matter that the bet was unbalanced but against airball that just opens the door for him to put you in a tough spot.

Still I think regarding that you were playing for a long time already and had already misclicked in that exact same hand (giving it a little weirder dynamic than usually) going the lower variance route and not risking getting put in a tough spot while not being on your best game is not that bad of a mistake.
      Also just wanted to tell you that you definitely are my favourite poker vlogger and I’m just so impressed and happy for you. climbing the stakes as fast as you did and still crushing it. Love the vlogs, and I respect your game. However I think you were inconsistent on your read in the 22 vs AK hand. At the beginning of the hand you said the player was considered to be pretty tight so you didn’t 3B him with AK. Then onto the hand analysis on the river, you said you now beat hands like K7s or 75s. I don’t think a tight player will have K7s or 75s in his UTG opening range, and if he does then you need to 3B AK.❤
