I saw them on that tour in Austin,TX. They blew me away. In my personal opinion I think they blew Metallica off the stage that night. I was in awe of their drum off, and of course their all around kick ass sound.
Yeah I saw them in Indianapolis opening up for Metallica too it was awesome blew me away too been a fan ever since it was the best show I think I've ever seen it's still a fan of this day❤❤
I was privileged to get to see them with Puddle of Mudd and another band which name escapes me now down at Alpine Valley in Wisconsin. Excellent fucking show.
crazy , had no clue , I mean I know he knows his way around the drum kit, friend told me they was a alice in chains cover band when they started jamming together, can you back that up?@@pitbullsmith73
Lol look it has the Alice n chains sun for wheels on the motorcycle. oh I mean Godsmack wheels wonder where they got their name. And then he shits on grunge music when he stole everything from Alice In Chains.
The suns really aren’t that similar. And he never shit on grunge he just said that genre could’ve put on a better performance for the fans.. Rather than being depressed and strung out on stage in my opinion
I understand critisism of godsmack as a band, and while I love some of their work, some of it is also bland, that said I've never understood the aic comparison,I'm a die hard aic fan and I've never fealt like they've ripped off their sound like I lot of people try to claim, there are other bands thst sound closer together with way more obvious rip offs
Not true. I used to think the same , and because of it, I never really payed alot of attention to them , as a band. Never purchased any of their CDs & never had much interest in them. All I knew of them were the songs they played on the radio. But next month I saw that they're going to be doing a concert here locally where I live and it's real close to home so I said well what the hell they're rock band I'll go check them out. So I bought tickets. And then I started going to RUclips and checking out more about them and listening to more songs so I would know them when I went to the concert..... And In doing so, I discovered that they truly are a great kick ass rock band. Which was kind of surprising to me ,cuz i agreed with you about all the songs sounded the same, prior to me actually learning & listening to all the stuff you don't hear on the radio. But the more of their stuff I listen to and the more they have evolved through the years they really are probably up there with some of the best bands ever. And as far as straight up hard rock ,they are definitely hard ass rock!!!
Dude! How do you have the gall to knock on grunge? Your name was taken from a grunge band, and the most grunge album of ‘98 was yours. Damn, already out of touch in ‘04.
